Brooks couldn't get anything going in this one with OG Anunoby draped all over him for most of the game. Brooks was effective inside the arc, but beyond that was a completely different story for the veteran wing Tuesday. He also received his 15th technical foul of the season Tuesday, and one more would result in an automatic one-game suspension.

Brooks turned in an efficient performance Friday, knocking down five triples and scoring 20-plus points for a second consecutive contest. The ninth-year forward finished as Phoenix's second-leading scorer, recording 20 of his 27 points in the first half. Additionally, he led the Suns in rebounds. Brooks has reached the 20-point threshold in three of his last four outings, during which he has averaged 21.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 31.5 minutes per tilt.

Brooks did all of his scoring in the first half before going 0-for-3 from the field in the second, but it was enough for the veteran forward to finish as the Suns' second-leading scorer behind Devin Booker (32 points). Brooks also recorded multiple steals for the 11th time this season, and his three steals were his most since Nov. 18 against the Trail Blazers.
