The Bucks waived Davis (Achilles) on Tuesday, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.
Davis joined the club on an Exhibit 10 pact, though he was unable to appear in the preseason while rehabbing a ruptured Achilles. The 27-year-old is expected to join Milwaukee's G League affiliate -- the Wisconsin Herd -- for the 2024-25 campaign.

Bucks' Terence Davis: Not yet ready for play
Davis (Achilles) was held out of Thursday's preseason game against the Lakers.
Davis continues to rehab from a ruptured Achilles suffered in June, and it's clear the Bucks aren't in a rush to get him back for a preseason game. Regardless, his next chance to suit up will arrive Monday against the Bulls.

Bucks' Terence Davis: With Bucks for camp
Davis (Achilles) signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Bucks on Wednesday, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.
A five-year NBA veteran, Davis is rehabbing a ruptured Achilles he sustained Jan. 4. There was optimism shortly after the injury that he'd be healthy in time for training camp. While Wednesday's signing indicates he may be ready to go, there haven't been any official updates on his recovery. Davis averaged 6.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists across 13.1 minutes per game in 2022-23 with Sacramento. He spent the 23-24 campaign in the G League.

Terence Davis: Suffers Achilles rupture
Davis will miss the remainder of the season due to a ruptured Achilles, Cyro Asseo de Choch of USA Today reports.
Davis suffered the injury in the Rip City Remix's 126-122 win over the Salt Lake City Stars on Jan. 4. The 26-year-old said he sustained a complete rupture of his upper Achilles, but he expressed optimism on recovering in time for the start of NBA training camps in the fall. Prior to spending this season in the G League with Rip City, Davis averaged 6.7 points per game across 64 appearances with Sacramento in 2022-23.

Kings' Terence Davis: Will come off bench Sunday
Davis will return to the second unit for Sunday's game against the Nuggets.
Davis received a spot start Friday with the Kings resting most of their main guys, but with everyone back for Sunday's game, Davis will return to a reserve role. He'll help back up De'Aaron Fox, with Davion Mitchell (knee) unavailable, but Davis is not a great target with the usual starters active.

Kings' Terence Davis: Starting Friday
Davis is starting at shooting guard in Friday's game against the Warriors, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.
With Kevin Huerter (knee) and Malik Monk (lower leg) sidelined, Davis is set to see an expanded role in the Kings' backcourt. He has averaged 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists across 23.2 minutes in four starts this season.

Kings' Terence Davis: Hits four triples in loss
Davis logged 12 points (4-9 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 0-1 FT) and four rebounds in 21 minutes during Tuesday's 132-109 loss to the Celtics.
Davis saw extended playing time again with Kevin Huerter (knee) sidelined and made the most of his opportunity by sinking four three-pointers. During Huerter's first absence, Davis posted 21 points (8-13 FG), seven rebounds and two steals in 29 minutes, but he played just five minutes in the following contest before seeing an increased role again Tuesday. When Davis plays at least 17 minutes this season (17 games), he's averaged 14.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals per contest.

Kings' Terence Davis: Drops 20 points off bench
Davis recorded 20 points (6-10 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one block over 18 minutes during Thursday's 133-116 victory over Portland.
Only three of Davis' points were in the fourth quarter of this blowout, so this wasn't a garbage-time special. Davis has had the hot hand for the Kings over his last three games with an average of 17.3 points and 3.0 three-pointers, but he will have to compete for touches with Malik Monk, who looked good in his return from an ankle injury Thursday.

Kings' Terence Davis: Erupts off bench
Davis contributed 22 points (10-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 32 minutes during Saturday's 133-128 overtime victory over the Mavericks.
Davis scored 17 of his points in the first half on 8-of-10 shooting from the field before struggling in the second half and overtime, but he still came through with strong production for anybody that used him as a streaming option. If Malik Monk (ankle) continues to miss additional games, Davis should take on an expanded role as the Kings' sixth man.

Kings' Terence Davis: Logs 21 minutes in loss
Davis finished Friday's 122-114 loss to the Mavericks with nine points (3-4 FG, 3-4 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes.
Davis handled more playing time than usual in this one, as he was on the floor for 20-plus minutes for the first time since Jan. 13. He wasn't quite able to score in double figures, but he shot with efficiency by hitting three of his four tries from beyond the arc. He's averaging 8.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists over his last five games (16.2 minutes).

Kings' Terence Davis: Scores eight points in 16 minutes
Davis had eight points (2-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal over 16 minutes during Monday's 118-111 overtime victory over the Timberwolves.
Davis was back in the rotation Monday, just his second time seeing action in the past seven games. Despite a proven ability to put up 12-team value, Davis simply doesn't see enough playing time on a night-to-night basis to warrant significant fantasy attention. He is someone to monitor just in case he can carve out a consistent role, though based on what we have seen thus far, that seems unlikely.

Kings' Terence Davis: Good to go

Kings' Terence Davis: Questionable Friday
Davis (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against Oklahoma City.
Davis is dealing with a non-COVID illness ahead of Friday's matchup, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to suit up. However, his status shouldn't significantly impact the Kings' rotation.

Kings' Terence Davis: Dealing with illness
Davis is battling a non-COVID illness ahead of Friday's contest versus the Thunder, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports.
Davis wasn't listed on the team's injury report earlier, but the fact that he's dealing with an illness may mean he's bound to pop up. Davis has logged a combined five minutes between the last two games, so his status shouldn't have a significant bearing on the team's rotation either way.

Kings' Terence Davis: Posts solid line in easy win
Davis provided 22 points (7-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, three assists and three steals in 31 minutes during Friday's 139-114 victory over the Rockets.
Davis finished as one of three Sacramento starters with 20-plus points, the first time he has reached that mark since putting up 31 points against Brooklyn on Nov. 15. The fourth-year pro moved into the starting lineup with Kevin Huerter out due to an illness, though the latter isn't likely facing an extended absence. In that context, there's little reason for fantasy managers to pursue Davis on the waiver wire, as he's averaging a meager 6.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 13.3 minutes over 33 games this season.
