Anthony Lamb: Hitting free agency
The Warriors didn't extend a qualifying offer to Lamb ahead of Thursday's deadline, Tommy Call III of Warriors Wire reports.
Lamb will become an unrestricted free agent this summer. He averaged 6.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 19.2 minutes across 62 appearances in 2023-24. With the Warriors looking to compete for a title, it is unsurprising they are willing to let the 25-year-old forward walk.

Warriors' Anthony Lamb: Regains rotation spot
Lamb played 17 minutes and scored nine points (3-4 FG, 3-4 3Pt) and added three rebounds, one steal and one block in Monday's 121-108 win over the Rockets.
The Warriors put Lamb on ice for a five-game stretch earlier this month after he had been active for the maximum of 50 games as a two-way player, but he's since taken back a regular spot in the rotation upon being converted to a standard NBA deal last week. He's received double-digit minutes in each of Golden State's last three contests, averaging 8.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.0 three-pointers, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks over that span.

Warriors' Anthony Lamb: Gets standard NBA deal
The Warriors converted Lamb's two-way contract to a standard one-year NBA deal Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Lamb had been playing under a two-way deal throughout the season, but he hadn't suited up for any of Golden State's last five contests after he had already been active for the maximum 50 games allotted to two-way players. The third-year forward has been biding his time in the G League over the past two weeks, but Golden State was motivated to move him to the 15-man active roster with Draymond Green set to serve a one-game suspension Friday in Atlanta and with Andrew Wiggins (personal) facing an uncertain timeline to rejoin the team. Lamb is now eligible to play for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs, and he should retain a regular spot in head coach Steve Kerr's rotation at least for as long as Wiggins is away from the team. In his 50 appearances this season, Lamb has averaged 7.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists over 20.1 minutes per contest.

Warriors' Anthony Lamb: Out of NBA days
Lamb, who is on a two-way contract, played his contract-limit 50th NBA game Sunday. His deal will need to be converted to a standard contract for the forward to appear in any more games.
Absences and a lack of quality depth led to Lamb running out of NBA days sooner than expected, with the forward playing a sizeable role at 20.1 minutes per game. Currently, the Warriors are dealing with Andrew Wiggins' (personal) extended absence, and he's without a timetable for a return. Now that Lamb is also unable to play indefinitely, more minutes are available for Jonathan Kuminga, JaMychal Green and possibly Patrick Baldwin.

Warriors' Anthony Lamb: Moderately productive Sunday
Lamb produced seven points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks over 25 minutes during Sunday's 109-104 win over the Timberwolves.
Lamb logged at least 20 minutes for the fourth straight game, continuing to play an important bench role for the Warriors. While there is very little to see here in terms of fantasy value, he has proven the ability to serve as a viable piece on a championship-worthy squad.

Warriors' Anthony Lamb: On standby in G League
The Warriors assigned Lamb to the G League's Santa Cruz Warriors on Saturday, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
Lamb wasn't available for Golden State's 109-103 loss to the Lakers on Saturday, and he may end up getting some extended run in the G League over the next couple of weeks while he nears the 50-game limit for two-way players to spend in the NBA before they have to their contracts converted to standard NBA deals. The Warriors envision Lamb eventually filling the 15th spot on the roster, but he may remain in limbo until Golden State gets a chance to assess the buyout market. Players must be added to the 15-man roster by March 1 in order to be eligible for the postseason, so expect Lamb to get a spot before that date regardless of whether he's reached his 50-game limit by then. In his 42 appearances with Golden State on the season, Lamb has averaged 7.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.4 treys in 19.3 minutes per contest.
