  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Pulls down 14 boards Saturday

Holmgren ended Saturday's 105-92 win over the Clippers with 10 points (3-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 14 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 29 minutes. Holmgren didn't have his best shooting effort Saturday, as he struggled with the physicality of Ivica Zubac near the rim. However, Holmgren found other ways to contribute en route to reaching his third double-double of the season. Despite his noticeable two-way impact, Holmgren's shooting numbers have been trending in the wrong direction -- he's failed to surpass the 10-point mark in his last two outings while shooting 33.3 percent from the field in that span after delivering blistering numbers in his first four contests.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Muted production in blowout

Holmgren ended with six points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound, three assists, five blocks and one steal over 18 minutes during Friday's 137-114 win over the Trail Blazers. Since Friday's contest was out of hand by the beginning of the third quarter, Holmgren recorded season lows in minutes, points and rebounds. However, the second-year center still managed to swat five shots. Holmgren is averaging 19.2 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.8 blocks, 2.8 assists and 1.4 steals in 28.8 minutes across his five appearances this season.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Standout two-way effort Sunday

Holmgren supplied 25 points (8-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 6-8 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, six blocks and one steal over 33 minutes during Sunday's 128-104 victory over the Hawks. Holmgren didn't repeat Saturday's output in the win against the Bulls when he grabbed 16 boards, but he did an excellent job of filling out the stat sheet in this one. The six blocks were just two shy of his career-best mark, set as a rookie in 2023-24, and his numbers have been eye-popping to begin the campaign. He's scored 20-plus points in each of his first three appearances this season, while recording multiple blocks each time and grabbing double-digit rebounds twice.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Grabs career-high 16 boards

Holmgren delivered 21 points (8-18 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 5-8 FT), 16 rebounds, a steal and two blocks across 29 minutes in Saturday's 114-95 win over the Bulls. The second-year big man recorded a career-high mark in rebounds in this game, and he's picking things up right where he left them off following an impressive rookie season in 2023-24. Holmgren has opened the 2024-25 campaign on a strong note with at least 20 points and 14 boards in his first two outings. With no competition for playing time due to the injury of Isaiah Hartenstein (hand), Holmgren should consistently see upwards of 30 minutes on a regular basis, making him a double-double threat every time he steps on the court.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Logs massive 25/14 double-double

Holmgren closed Thursday's 102-87 win over the Nuggets with 25 points (11-18 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 14 rebounds, five assists, four blocks and two steals in 36 minutes. Holmgren is coming off an excellent rookie season, and he could have run away with the Rookie of the Year award if Victor Wembanyama wasn't in the mix. The Gonzaga product should see a substantial increase in minutes this season due to the lack of competition on the roster. Isaiah Hartenstein (hand) will be out at least another month, giving Holmgren max minutes at the five.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Limited impact Wednesday

Holmgren ended with 10 points (2-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-8 FT), six rebounds and three assists across 17 minutes in Wednesday's 122-113 preseason loss to the Rockets. Holmgren had a rough shooting performance in this preseason contest, but he still made his presence felt on the glass and as a playmaker. The second-year big man is set to open the season in a starting role, though his position and partner in the frontcourt are still undetermined. Holmgren will aim to improve in his sophomore year after averaging 16.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.3 blocks per game as a rookie across 82 regular-season appearances in 2023-24.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Nears double-double with four swats

Holmgren ended Monday's 100-96 win over Dallas in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 18 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, four blocks and one steal over 40 minutes. Holmgren stepped his game up on a night where Jalen Williams struggled with his shot, and the star rookie made his presence felt on both ends of the court, showing efficiency in his touch near the rim and being his usual disruptive self on the defensive end. Holmgren is averaging 15.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.3 blocks per game in the series against Dallas. Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday in OKC.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Records 13/8/3 line in loss

Holmgren finished Saturday's 105-101 loss to Dallas in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 13 points (5-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, four blocks and one steal in 35 minutes. Holmgren has struggled a bit against Dallas' defensive front through three games after averaging 15.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.8 blocked shots over four games against the Pelicans. The Mavericks have been able to stay fresh in the paint with Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively platooning at the five, and Jaylin Williams hasn't offered the same kind of secondary support. Holmgren has also failed to keep Luka Doncic off the glass, and he'll need to improve in several areas to keep the Thunder in the series.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: As advertised in Game 1 win

Holmgren totaled 19 points (8-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, three blocks and two steals over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 117-95 victory over the Mavericks in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Holmgren produced on both ends of the floor, scoring 19 points with five combined steals and blocks. After a stellar rookie season, Holmgren is looking to cement himself as an elite center despite his age. The Thunder will be hoping for a repeat performance Thursday before heading to Dallas for Games 3 and 4.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Swats five shots in win Sunday

Holmgren ended with 15 points (6-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, five blocks and one steal in 32 minutes during Sunday's 94-92 victory over the Pelicans in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. Holmgren had all sorts of problems with Jonas Valanciunas on the glass, and his shooting wasn't entirely efficient. However, the rookie didn't look outmatched in the first playoff appearance of his career, particularly on the defensive end with a few key blocks down the stretch, including one in the dying stages of the fourth quarter where the Pelicans were creeping on a comeback. Holmgren is not going to lead the Thunder in scoring since he plays alongside Jalen Williams and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but he's still an excellent two-way threat every time he steps on the court.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Flirts with double-double in finale

Holmgren closed with 13 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds and one block in 12 minutes during Sunday's 135-86 victory over the Mavericks. Holmgren's result was astounding considering his 12 minutes of usage in the blowout win. The Thunder's standout center sat early with the rest of the starters, but he had one of the best stat lines on the roster while logging the second-lowest minute total.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Dominant two-way effort in win

Holmgren provided 22 points (9-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal across 25 minutes during Friday's 125-107 victory over the Bucks. Holmgren turned in a strong performance Friday, helping the Thunder to a clutch victory. They now sit atop the Western Conference and a win over Dallas on Sunday would secure them a first-place finish. Holmgren has been a revelation this season, taking the Thunder's ceiling to another level. From a fantasy perspective, there is a chance managers are going to have to part with a second-round pick to secure his services next year.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Logs double-double Sunday

Holmgren contributed 20 points (6-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals across 31 minutes during Sunday's 121-118 win over the Hornets. Holmgren had been delivering a few subpar outings in recent weeks, but he bounced back in a big way here and notched his first double-double since March 22. The rookie big man will have a tough challenge Tuesday, as the Thunder will take on Domantas Sabonis and the Kings. Holmgren will enter that matchup with averages of 13.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.6 blocks per game over his last 10 contests, though he's scored in double digits in five of his last six.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Brutal shooting night Sunday

Holmgren had six points (1-10 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and four rebounds over 25 minutes during Sunday's 118-93 loss to the Bucks. The 21-year-old center couldn't get anything going against Brook Lopez and the Milwaukee frontcourt, leading to Holmgren's worst scoring performance since he managed only four points against the Timberwolves on Jan. 29. He's been showing signs of fatigue toward the end of his first NBA season, scoring in single digits three times in the last eight games, and over that stretch, Holmgren has averaged 15.4 points, 8.6 boards, 1.6 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.4 threes.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Tallies 22nd double-double Friday

Holmgren logged 18 points (8-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt), 10 rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in 27 minutes during Friday's 123-103 victory over the Raptors. Holmgren registered his fourth double-double in his last five appearances Friday. He led the Thunder in rebounds and was third behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams in scoring. Over his last five games, Holmgren has averaged 20.2 points on 57.6 percent shooting (including 45.5 percent from three on 4.4 3PA/G), 11.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 2.0 blocks over 31.3 minutes per game.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Records double-double in victory

Holmgren finished Wednesday's 128-120 victory over the Trail Blazers with 21 points (6-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 14 rebounds, five assists and one block over 33 minutes. Holmgren was squelched by the Lakers on Monday evening but had a much easier time against the short-handed Trail Blazers. The Gonzaga product is unlikely to best Victor Wembanyama as the season's top rookie, but he's a big part of the Thunder's elevation to the top of the Western Conference. As he matures, he will eventually be a more consistent double-double threat, but he has hit the mark 18 times this season.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Loses battle against Wembanyama

Holmgren logged 23 points (8-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one block over 33 minutes during Thursday's 132-118 loss to the Spurs. Holmgren posted an excellent stat line, shooting the ball at an efficient clip, sniffing a double-double and making his presence felt on both ends of the court. However, he was outdueled by Victor Wembanyama, and there's a feel the race for the Rookie of the Year award officially ended after this game. That said, Holmgren continues to have an excellent season for the regular rookie standards, and he is already showing he can be a disruptive force on both ends of the court during his first year in The Association. Holmgren is averaging 19.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.8 blocks and 1.0 steals per game over his last 10 appearances.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Efficient from field in win

Holmgren amassed 25 points (11-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds and two blocks over 23 minutes during Friday's 147-106 victory over the Wizards. Holmgren missed just three of his 14 shots -- all of them from beyond the arc -- but recorded his third double-double over his last five appearances as the Thunder cruised to another easy win. Holmgren has been remarkably consistent for a rookie, scoring in double digits in nine games in a row and averaging 17.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.1 blocks and 2.1 assists per game during that stretch.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Stuffs stat sheet Sunday

Holmgren supplied 14 points (5-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists, four blocks and two steals in 31 minutes during Sunday's 127-113 victory over the Kings. Holmgren attempted only nine shots, making it the third time across his last five games in which he doesn't record double-digit shot attempts. Still, he is not dependent on his scoring figures to deliver solid fantasy performances. The rookie continues to find ways to make an impact, and he's averaging 17.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.6 blocks and 1.6 steals per game since the beginning of February.

  • Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Back to best Tuesday

Holmgren racked up 22 points (8-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, four blocks and three steals over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 124-117 loss to the Jazz. Holmgren delivered another strong performance Tuesday, scoring 22 points for the second straight game. He chipped in a season-high three steals to go with his four blocks, proving pivotal on both ends of the floor. Although his level of production has decreased slightly over the past month, he should be a lock to finish inside the top 40 in what has been an impressive rookie campaign.
