  • Clippers' Yanic Konan Niederhauser: Back in NBA but out Thursday

Los Angeles recalled Niederhauser (knee) from the G League's San Diego Clippers on Wednesday, but he is out for Thursday's game against Oklahoma City. Niederhauser has returned to the NBA following a productive stretch in the G League, but he is dealing with a knee injury that will sideline him at least for Thursday's contest. However, his absence will not impact the Clippers' rotation, as he is buried on the depth chart.

  • Clippers' Yanic Konan Niederhauser: Plays garbage time in loss

Niederhauser played the final 3:40 of Monday's 121-103 loss to the Grizzlies, finishing with two points (0-1 FG, 2-2 FT) and one rebound. After being recalled from the G League's San Diego Clippers earlier in the day, Niederhauser suited up for the parent club Monday but once again found himself outside of the rotation, with his playing time coming well after the Grizzlies had the game in hand. Though the 6-20 Clippers don't appear to view Niederhauser as an NBA-ready contributor just yet, the rookie first-round pick could nonetheless be in the mix for more meaningful run in competitive games behind top center Ivica Zubac once the team fades from playoff contention.

  • Clippers' Yanic Konan Niederhauser: Back to NBA

Niederhauser produced 18 points (5-7 FG, 4-4 FT), 17 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 36 minutes of Tuesday's 124-116 G League win over the Valley Suns. Los Angeles recalled him back to the NBA on Wednesday. Niederhauser continues to feast at the G League level, but he's yet to see many opportunities in the NBA. Across 11 NBA appearances, Niederhauser is averaging 5.2 minutes per contest.

  • Clippers' Yanic Konan Niederhauser: Recalled to NBA

Los Angeles recalled Niederhauser from the G League's San Diego Clippers on Monday. Along with Cam Christie, Niederhauser was assigned and recalled on the same day. Most of Niederhauser's minutes will likely come at the G League level to open his career.

  • Clippers' Yanic Konan Niederhauser: Assigned to G League

The Clippers assigned Niederhauser to the G League's San Diego Clippers on Monday. Niederhauser has been unable to crack the rotation thus far, with an average of 4.4 minutes in three appearances. Expect him to get plenty of reps in the G League to open his rookie season.

  • Clippers' Yanic Konan Niederhauser: Available for Monday

Niederhauser (ankle) is available for Monday's game against the Heat, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. Niederhauser missed Friday's game against the Pelicans due to a left ankle sprain, but he will be available for Monday's bout. Niederhauser hasn't seen much of a role to this point, so his availability likely doesn't impact the rotation.

  • Clippers' Yanic Konan Niederhauser: Double-doubles in preseason win

Niederhauser notched 13 points (5-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 26 minutes in Friday's 106-103 preseason win over the Warriors. Niederhauser finished as the Clippers' third-leading scorer and was one of four Los Angeles players to reach double figures. The rookie big man also grabbed a game-high mark in rebounds. The No. 30 overall pick in the 2025 Draft is expected to provide center depth for the club in 2025-26, though he could see increased playing time if Ivica Zubac or Brook Lopez (rest) misses time.

  • Clippers' Yanic Konan Niederhauser: Available for Thursday

Niederhauser (back) is set to be available for Thursday's preseason opener against the Guangzhou Loong Lions, Joey Linn of SI.com reports. Niederhauser sat out the end of the Las Vegas Summer League with a back injury, but he's healthy for the beginning of exhibition play. That said, the rookie first-rounder would likely need one of Ivica Zubac or Brook Lopez to go down with an injury in order to realistically carve out a meaningful role from the second unit during his first season.

  • Clippers' Yanic Konan Niederhauser: Won't suit up Thursday

Niederhauser (back) has been ruled out for Thursday's Summer League game against the Nuggets, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports. Niederhauser will sit out Thursday due to lower back pain. He logged 10 points in 23 minutes during Monday's win over the Lakers and could return to action this weekend, though the Clippers' next matchup has yet to be finalized.
