  • Magic's Jett Howard: Solid workload in overtime win

Howard supplied 10 points (3-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and two assists over 20 minutes during Thursday's 136-131 overtime win over Washington. Howard logged 20-plus minutes for a fourth straight game, a significant shift for a player who hadn't reached that mark in back-to-back outings at any other point this season. This sustained usage is a direct result of Franz Wagner (ankle) and Anthony Black (abdomen) being sidelined with no definitive timetable for a return. During this four-game span, Howard has averaged 10.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists while knocking down 1.8 triples per contest.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Scores 14 points

Howard contributed 14 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes during Sunday's 130-91 win over the Bucks. Howard logged 25 minutes for the second time in a row, but he fared much better this time around. He's had a limited fantasy impact this season, averaging 12.0 minutes across 42 appearances.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Perfect from downtown in rout

Howard had 16 points (6-6 FG, 4-4 3Pt) and one block over 13 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 131-94 win over Sacramento. It was the third-year wing's best scoring effort since he erupted for a surprising 30 points against the Celtics on Nov. 23. Howard's perfect night from beyond the arc was part of a stunning shooting performance by the Magic that saw them go 27-for-50 (54.0 percent) from long distance, with seven different Orlando players draining at least three treys. Howard is still trying to earn a consistent role in the rotation and has played double-digit minutes in just three of the last six games, failing to get on the court at all in one of them due to an ankle injury.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Available for Thursday

Howard (ankle) will be available for Thursday's game against the Kings. Howard saw a total of six minutes over his last two appearances for Orlando, so his availability won't matter much in fantasy hoops.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Out Wednesday with sprained ankle

Howard won't play Wednesday against the Bucks due to a left ankle sprain. Howard logged just six minutes over the Magic's last two games, so his absence won't create many waves in the rotation. His next chance to suit up will come after the All-Star break.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Muted role continues

Howard provided two points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), one assist and one steal in two minutes during Saturday's 120-117 victory over Utah. Howard was a non-factor yet again, continuing what has been another frustrating campaign. Despite providing Orlando with a much-needed perimeter threat, Howard simply hasn't been able to carve out a meaningful role for himself. In 32 appearances this season, he has averaged just 4.8 points and 0.9 three-pointers in 10.6 minutes per game.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Cleared from injury report

Howard (illness) is off the injury report for Thursday's game against the Hornets. Howard is available to play off the bench Thursday after missing consecutive outings with an illness. With the Orlando frontcourt now fully healthy, Howard may not see meaningful playing time against Charlotte.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Questionable to play Sunday

Howard (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies in London, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports. The illness previously kept Howard from playing in Thursday's 118-111 win over the Grizzlies in Berlin. While Howard could be back in action for the second of the Magic's two games in Europe, he's unlikely to be included in the rotation even if he sheds his questionable tag.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Out with illness

Howard is a late scratch against the Grizzlies on Thursday due to an illness, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports. Howard has been a minimal part of Orlando's rotation, and he most recently logged nine minutes against the 76ers on Jan. 9. His absence won't have a big impact in fantasy hoops, especially with Franz Wagner (ankle) returning to action.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Available for Friday

Howard (illness) is available for Friday's game against the Bulls. Howard is no longer on the injury report after missing Wednesday's game against the Pacers. He has averaged 11.9 minutes per tilt over his last six appearances.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Late addition to injury report

Howard (illness) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers. Howard was an extremely late addition to the injury report, which doesn't bode well for his chances of playing Wednesday. He'll likely be a game-time decision ahead of tipoff at 3:00 p.m. ET. The 22-year-old forward hasn't logged more than five minutes in any of Orlando's last four games, so his potential absence shouldn't cause any significant waves in the rotation.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Strong showing from second unit

Howard recorded 12 points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Thursday's 126-115 loss to Denver. Howard got a chance at some extended run Thursday, given that Jalen Suggs (hip), Jonathan Isaac (hip) and Tristan da Silva (shoulder) were all sidelined. The 29 minutes matched a season high, so Howard's fantasy prospects are likely to hinge upon the availability of some of Orlando's key players in Saturday's tilt against Utah.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Logs 20 minutes in loss

Howard racked up five points (2-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 20 minutes during Sunday's 117-113 overtime loss to Houston. Despite not having a consistent role in Orlando, Howard ended up leading the second unit in points and minutes played Sunday, even though the bench as a whole did not produce much at all. As long as Paolo Banchero (groin) is sidelined, expect Howard to back up Tristan da Silva.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Team option declined

The Magic declined Howard's fourth-year team option Wednesday, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports. This move isn't a big surprise, as Howard has struggled to find a role in Orlando. This means he's set to become an unrestricted free agent next offseason, and the Magic may now be more willing to potentially move him before the deadline.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Little impact in loss

Howard racked up three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt) in four minutes during Friday's 111-107 loss to the Hawks. Howard didn't get much time on the floor in a losing effort for his squad. He recorded the fewest minutes among the players on his team who played Friday.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Unproductive again Friday

Howard finished with two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound over four minutes during Friday's 118-111 loss to Minnesota. Howard continues to be a non-factor for the Magic, having now scored in single digits in 17 straight games. Despite a number of injuries that have resulted in a lack of backcourt depth, Howard has been unable to capitalize. Across 55 games played, he is averaging just 4.1 points and 0.9 three-pointers in 11.2 minutes.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Across-the-board effort

Howard notched six points (2-8 FG, 2-8 3Pt), two rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals over 26 minutes during Wednesday's 102-86 victory over Charlotte. Howard started the second half after Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was ejected. He logged a season-high 26 minutes and chipped in across the board, including recording three combined defensive stats for just the second time this season. Despite the encouraging performance, Howard has not even been an every-night part of the rotation.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Goes through shootaround

Howard (ankle) participated in shootaround ahead of Thursday's game versus the Trail Blazers, Mason Williams of SI.com reports. Howard has missed Orlando's previous five contests due to a sprained left ankle but is listed as questionable for Thursday. However, Howard's participation in shootaround is a good sign of his availability against Portland.

  • Magic's Jett Howard: Listed as questionable

Howard (ankle) is questionable for Thursday's game against Portland. Howard is in jeopardy of missing his sixth straight game. With Franz Wagner (reconditioning) nearing a return, Howard will struggle to crack Orlando's rotation.
