  • Nets' Danny Wolf: First career double-double

Wolf closed with 15 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds and two assists across 26 minutes during Saturday's 104-97 loss to Philadelphia. Wolf tied a season high with 10 boards during Saturday's game and finished as the Nets' leading scorer, en route to the first double-double of his NBA career. The rookie first-rounder has started in three of Brooklyn's last four games, but he'll likely come off the bench against the Trail Blazers on Monday if Nic Claxton (rest) is cleared to return.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Running with starters

Wolf is starting Thursday's game against the Hawks, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. Wolf will get the starting nod Thursday with Brooklyn missing both Nolan Traore (rest) and Michael Porter (ankle). Wolf fared well in his last start Monday against the Grizzlies, as he finished with 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 28 minutes.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Comes close to double-double

Wolf racked up 13 points (2-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-9 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 28 minutes during Tuesday's 138-100 loss to the Pistons. Wolf didn't have his best shooting performance, but making seven of his nine trips to the charity stripe allowed him to salvage his scoring output. The rookie out of Michigan also ended two boards shy of recording what would've been his first double-double since Jan. 11. Wolf has been trending in the right direction of late, scoring in double digits in six of his last eight games despite coming off the bench in all but one of those outings.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Returning to bench role

Wolf won't start Tuesday's game against the Pistons. With Michael Porter resting Monday, Wolf posted 14 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 28 minutes during a 126-115 victory over the Grizzlies. However, the rookie slides back to a bench role with the Nets' leading scorer returning Tuesday. Nonetheless, with Day'Ron Sharpe (thumb) and Ziaire Williams (illness) sidelined, Wolf should still see a solid role as a reserve.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Flirts with double-double

Wolf contributed 14 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 28 minutes during Monday's 126-115 victory over the Grizzlies. Wolf shifted into the starting lineup, replacing Michael Porter, who was given the night off for rest purposes. Wolf fell one rebound short of what would have been just the second double-double of his career, while also managing to add a pair of defensive stats. While this was an encouraging performance, it's hard to view him as anything more than a stream or stash guy, given the fact that his playing time is wildly unpredictable.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Stepping into starting five

Wolf will start Monday's game against the Grizzlies, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports. Wolf will enter the starting lineup with Michael Porter (rest) sidelined Monday. Wolf's last start dates back to Feb. 9 against the Bulls, when he finished with 13 points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocks in 26 minutes.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Delivers career-high 23 points

Wolf logged 23 points (7-13 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 6-8 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and two steals over 27 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 106-102 loss to the Cavaliers. The 23 points were a new career high for the rookie forward. Wolf is still predictably showing some inconsistency, but he's scored in double digits in eight of the last 11 games (one start), averaging 12.5 points, 5.4 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.6 threes and 1.4 combined blocks and steals in 22.4 minutes over that stretch.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Productive in reserve role

Wolf logged 16 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal over 23 minutes during the Nets' 148-111 loss to the Celtics on Friday. Wolf started out nicely with seven points in the first quarter. He was held scoreless in the second and third quarters, but with the Nets facing a blowout loss, the rookie first-rounder and other reserves saw increased burn in the fourth. Wolf tallied nine points in the final frame and finished as the Nets' second-leading scorer behind Michael Porter (18 points), and it was the fifth time this season that the former scored at least 15 points in a game.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Shows versatility in loss

Wolf amassed 11 points (4-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-4 FT), six rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one steal across 28 minutes during Thursday's 112-84 loss to Cleveland. Wolf posted an impressive box score during the defeat, showcasing his diverse skill set. As long as Nic Claxton (ankle) remains sidelined, Wolf has a clear path to increased usage. Day'Ron Sharpe started Thursday's game at center, but he played only 20 minutes and finished with four points (1-5 FG), five rebounds and three assists.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Productive in spot start

Wolf provided 13 points (5-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals over 26 minutes during Monday's 123-115 win over the Bulls. Wolf moved into the starting lineup, scoring in double digits for the third straight game. Although his role continues to fluctuate, his production over the past week has been relatively strong, averaging 12.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.5 three-pointers and 1.8 combined steals and blocks in four games during that time. While he is more of a stash than a must-roster player, he is doing enough to be held in certain formats at the moment.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Slated to start Monday

Wolf is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Bulls, Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today reports. Wolf will step into the starting five for the eighth time this season, giving the Nets a bigger look alongside Noah Clowney and Nic Claxton in the frontcourt. In his first seven starts, Wolf averaged 10.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 28.4 minutes per contest.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Strikes for 16 against Wizards

Wolf racked up 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt), seven rebounds and six assists over 20 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 127-113 victory over Washington. The six assists were a career high for the 27th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, while the 16 points were Wolf's highest total since Dec. 12 against the Mavericks. The Michigan product remains inconsistent in the second unit, however -- Wolf has scored in double digits only four times in the last 11 games (three starts), averaging 8.7 points, 5.5 boards, 2.5 assists and 1.0 threes in 20.8 minutes a contest over that stretch.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Grabs 10 rebounds

Wolf chipped in six points (2-9 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists and one block across 29 minutes during Sunday's 130-77 loss to the Pistons. Wolf salvaged a rough shooting night with a big performance on the glass. The 27th overall pick in the 2025 Draft tied his career high in rebounds along with six points and four assists. Wolf missed all five of his tries from distance but still averages 1.1 makes from downtown on the year.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Starting Thursday

Wolf will start Thursday versus the Nuggets, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports. Joining Wolf in the first unit for Thursday's game will be Nolan Traore, Terance Mann, Michael Porter and Nic Claxton. Through four starts this season, Wolf has posted averages of 11.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.3 triples and 1.3 steals per contest.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Retreating to bench

Wolf isn't starting Monday's game against the Suns. The Michigan product drew a spot start Sunday while Michael Porter got a regularly scheduled night off, but it'll be right back to the bench Monday night for Wolf with Porter back on the court. Wolf played well in his last appearance as a reserve Friday against the Bulls, ending with 13 points, four rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 19 minutes.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Starting sans Porter

Wolf will start against the Grizzlies on Sunday, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports. The rookie first-rounder will get the starting nod for the third time this season due to Michael Porter (rest) being sidelined. Wolf has started two of his five appearances so far this month, averaging 7.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steals over 23.4 minutes per contest in January.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Moving back to bench

Wolf will come off the bench in Sunday's game against Denver, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports. Wolf drew back-to-back starts due to the absences of Michael Porter (illness) and Nic Claxton (personal). With Porter back in action, though, Wolf will head back to the second unit. He's averaging 19.6 minutes per game this season.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Held scoreless Sunday

Wolf ended with zero points (0-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists across 19 minutes during Sunday's 96-81 victory over Toronto. Wolf was held scoreless Sunday, which doesn't bode well for his chances of gaining playing time going forward. The rookie forward has still been a solid rotation piece, having averaged 10.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 22.3 minutes per contest over his last 10 games.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Assigned to G League

Brooklyn assigned Wolf to the G League's Long Island Nets on Tuesday, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. Wolf made his NBA debut Monday against Minnesota, but he played a mere three minutes. He's likely to see extended time in the G League to open his career.

  • Nets' Danny Wolf: Debuts in garbage time

Wolf (ankle) played the final 3:33 of Monday's 125-109 loss to the Timberwolves, finishing with zero points (0-1 FG), two assists and one rebound. One of the Nets' five first-round draft picks back in June, Wolf was the final one to make his NBA debut after he sustained a left ankle sprain at some point late in the preseason. He was finally cleared ahead of Monday's contest, though he didn't end up checking into the game until the Timberwolves already had the game well in hand. Since Wolf doesn't look like he'll be a regular part of the Brooklyn rotation at the moment, he could be in line for frequent trips to the G League to see steadier playing time with the Long Island Nets.
