This appears to be a minor injury, so even if James isn't able to go Tuesday, he shouldn't miss much additional time. James dropped another dud in the G League, posting four points (2-10 FG) in 26 minutes during a 127-122 loss to the Stockton Kings on Sunday. James is planning to play only home games for South Bay this season, and he's currently not part of the NBA Lakers' rotation.

James' G League debut didn't go as well as hoped. He posted six points (2-9 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four assists, three rebounds, two steals and one assist in 31 minutes Saturday in South Bay's 110-96 win over the Salt Lake City Stars. James isn't on a two-way deal, but he's expected to get plenty of looks in the G League to develop and stay sharp, as he's not part of the NBA rotation.

The Lakers assigned James to the South Bay Lakers on Thursday, and he is expected to make his G League debut Saturday against the Salt Lake City Stars, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The Lakers will recall James prior to Friday's game versus the 76ers, but he will then be assigned to the G League for Saturday's contest. James is averaging just 1.0 points in 3.3 minutes across three NBA appearances this season, so he should receive increased opportunities in the G League.

James is expected to join the Lakers' G League affiliate -- the South Bay Lakers -- after the club's upcoming five-game road trip, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
This does not come as a surprise as the Lakers look to develop James through the G League. South Bay will open its season at home against the Salt Lake City Stars on Nov. 9th, three days after the end of the road trip. The rookie saw three minutes of action on Opening Night, during which he shot 0-for-2 and collected a rebound.

Lakers' Bronny James: Hits for 17 in Friday's start
James scored 17 points (7-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding four rebounds, three steals, an assist and a block in 35 minutes during Friday's 132-74 preseason loss to the Warriors.
LeBron's son got the start in the Lakers' preseason finale while dad and the rest of the team's regulars got the night off. James put together a decent performance, but the 2024 second-round pick will likely get most of his minutes this season in the G League, although at some point the Lakers will look to make history by having two generations of Jameses on the court at the same time.
