Young posted 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-6 FT), two rebounds, six assists and two steals across 19 minutes during Thursday's 122-112 loss to Utah.
Young played with the Wizards for the first time in his career, and while his stat line could've been better had he played more, he was limited to a mere 19 minutes. Young struggled with his shot from three-point range, but some rust was expected given this was his first game since Dec. 27 and only his 11th game in the current campaign. Young is expected to remain in the starting lineup for upcoming games, though he's likely to continue playing under a minutes restriction.

Young (knee/quadriceps) will make his Wizards debut in Thursday's game against the Jazz, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Though Young will remain out for Monday's tilt against the Rockets and Tuesday's matchup against the Magic, he's on track to make his highly-anticipated team debut later this week. Prior to being traded to the Wizards, Young made his final appearance with the Hawks on Dec. 27 before being shut down due to a right knee MCL sprain and a right quadriceps contusion. Because Young has been out for a lengthy period of time, head coach Brian Keefe confirmed that the 27-year-old would have a restriction of between 17-to-20 minutes in his Wizards debut, per Josh Robbins of The Athletic.
