The double-double was his third of the season and first since Nov. 10. Knueppel continues to fill up the bucket from long range, draining multiple three-pointers in 18 of his last 19 games and averaging 20.4 points, 4.9 boards, 4.2 assists and 3.5 threes over that stretch while shooting 52.5 percent from the floor and 46.9 percent from beyond the arc.
Knueppel finished with 18 points (8-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and four assists over 35 minutes during Monday's 117-109 loss to the Clippers.
Knueppel had a solid night despite failing to convert beyond the arc during the loss. Knueppel looked to be on his way to a nice scoring night after draining two of four three-pointers in the first quarter, but the rookie struggled with his shot for the rest of the contest, though his eight boards were his most in a game since Nov. 19 against the Pacers. Knueppel entered Wednesday's contest shooting 43.5 percent from three while attempting 8.3 three-pointers per game, so off nights are bound to happen from time to time.
