Clippers' Darius Garland: Reaches 20-point mark once again
Garland amassed 21 points (8-13 FG, 5-9 3Pt), one rebound, six assists and two steals in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 153-128 victory over the Timberwolves.
Garland didn't make his Clippers debut until March 2 and made his first start Saturday, March 7, in a win over the Grizzlies. The Clippers have gone 3-0 with Garland as a starter, and the former Cavaliers floor general has posted excellent numbers so far with averages of 21.7 points, 6.3 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. Garland has scored at least 21 points in his three starts while shooting 46.9 percent from the floor and 50 percent from three, so the arrow is definitely pointing up for him.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Solid totals in win
Garland closed with 23 points (7-16 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 4-6 FT), one rebound, seven assists and two steals over 30 minutes during Monday's 126-118 win over New York.
Garland is still sitting out at least one game during back-to-back sets, but his production is starting to find signs of life. He followed up a 21-point performance against the Grizzlies with another total over 20 points, drilling five three-pointers in the process. His perimeter game and assist production are his strongest suits, and Monday's line is reminiscent of the totals he compiled with the Cavaliers earlier in the season.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Tallies 21 points vs. Memphis
Garland logged 21 points (8-20 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six assists and four rebounds over 26 minutes during the Clippers' 123-120 win over the Grizzlies on Saturday.
Garland made his first start as a member of the Clippers on Saturday after coming off the bench in each of his first two outings with his new team. He helped the Clippers close things out with 11 points in the fourth quarter and finished tied with Bennedict Mathurin as the team's second-leading scorer behind Kawhi Leonard (28 points). Garland has yet to crack 30 minutes since joining the Clippers and will likely have his playing time monitored as he continues to manage a left toe injury.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Starting Saturday
Garland will start against the Grizzlies on Saturday, Lauren Rosen of FanDuel Sports Network SoCal reports.
After coming off the bench in his first two appearances for the Clippers, the 26-year-old point guard will join the first unit in place of Kobe Sanders. Garland has averaged 12.0 points, 5.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 23.5 minutes per contest with Los Angeles this season.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Fades injury report
Garland (toe) is off the injury report and will be available for Saturday's game against the Grizzlies.
Garland was held out of Friday's loss to the Spurs due to left toe injury management but will suit up for the second leg of the Clippers' back-to-back set Saturday. He has appeared in two games for the Clippers since being acquired from the Cavaliers in early February and came off the bench in each of those two contests.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Getting rest day Friday
Garland is out for Friday's game against the Spurs due to left toe injury management.
Garland will take a seat for the first half of the team's back-to-back after logging 24 minutes Wednesday night against the Pacers. Look for Kris Dunn and Kobe Sanders to continue to benefit in terms of minutes with Garland sidelined Friday.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Posts 12 points in team debut
Garland (toe) notched 12 points (4-9 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 23 minutes during Monday's 114-101 win over Golden State.
Though he was acquired from the Cavaliers back on Feb. 4, Garland didn't make his Clippers debut until Monday following a lengthy recovery from a right big toe sprain and left big toe injury management. Garland is likely to move into a starting role with the Clippers over time, but head coach Tyronn Lue elected to bring the point guard off the bench in his debut in an attempt to manage his minutes. Garland's addition will be key down the stretch for the Clippers, who appear to be assured a spot in the Play-In Tournament. Garland could be in line for an absence soon with a back-to-back set on tap this weekend, but he should be able to play and could see a slight rise in minutes in the Clippers' next game Wednesday against the Pacers.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Will be deployed off bench
Garland isn't in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Warriors, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
The Clippers will be monitoring Garland's minutes closely in his first game action since Jan. 14, and the fact that he's being utilized off the bench will make it a bit easier for the team to manage his workload. Kris Dunn will remain in the starting lineup for the time being, though Garland should eventually transition to the starting point guard spot once he's completed his ramp-up period.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Cleared to play Monday
The Clippers announced that Garland (toe) -- who has already been ruled out for Sunday's matchup versus the Pelicans -- will be available for Monday's game at Golden State, NBA writer Justin Russo reports.
In what will be his Clippers debut, Garland is slated to make his first appearance since Jan. 14 following a lengthy absence due to a right great toe sprain and left big toe injury management. Prior to being traded to the Clippers on Feb. 4, Garland had averaged 18.0 points, 6.9 assists, 2.4 rebounds, 2.3 three-pointers and 0.8 steals in 30.5 minutes per contest over 26 appearances with Cleveland. Given the amount of time that he missed, Garland is likely to be operating with a minutes restriction Monday, but the Clippers could feel comfortable deploying him in the starting five right off the bat.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Intends to play Monday
Garland (toe), who has already been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pelicans, is expected to make his Clippers debut Monday at Golden State, Chris Haynes of NBA TV reports.
Before he was traded to the Clippers on Feb. 3, Garland hadn't played for the Cavaliers since Jan. 14. His absence was initially attributed to a right big toe sprain, though Clippers president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank has since relayed that Garland has healed from that injury and is receiving continued maintenance for the left big toe that he had surgically repaired in the offseason. After taking part in multiple scrimmages and practices over the past couple of weeks, however, Garland finally looks poised to make his Clippers debut in the second leg of a back-to-back set. Garland could slot into the starting five Monday, but expect the Clippers to manage his minutes to some degree.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Out again Sunday
Garland (toe) is out for Sunday's game against the Pelicans, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
Garland again practiced in full for the Clippers on Saturday, but a target date for his return has yet to be determined. It's possible he could play Monday against the Warriors, but the Clippers have been proceeding with caution.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Continues to progress
Garland (toe) participated in a 5-on-5 scrimmage Wednesday, Janis Carr of The Orange County Register reports.
Garland will also go through another scrimmage Thursday, but he's not going to be cleared to play against the Timberwolves. A return against the Pelicans on March 1 could be on the table if Garland continues to progress, so fantasy managers may not have to wait much longer to see him debut for the Clippers.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Considered week-to-week
Garland (toe) is considered week-to-week, Law Murray of The Athletic reports Wednesday.
Murray adds that Garland likely won't see the floor until March at the earliest. It's clear that the Clippers are going to be cautious with their new point guard, but Murray said the team definitely expects him to return this season. Garland was injured to start the campaign, appearing in only eight of Cleveland's first 24 games. He returned to action in early December, playing in 18 straight contests, but has been sidelined since Jan. 16 after suffering another injury.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Lacks clear return timeline
Garland (toe) has no timetable for a return, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
Garland's sprained right toe is healed, but he's still recovering from offseason left toe surgery. It sounds like the Clippers are erring on the side of caution ahead of the All-Star break, so it appears safe to rule out the star guard for Tuesday's game against the Rockets and Wednesday's rematch versus Houston, barring any changes to his status. Kris Dunn, Bennedict Mathurin and Jordan Miller should help pick up the slack in the backcourt.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Out at least two more games
Garland (toe/recently traded), who has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Kings, won't play in Sunday's game against the Timberwolves, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
Garland's next chance to make his Clippers debut comes Tuesday against the Rockets. However, Linn notes that the star guard is still working on his recovery from a right toe sprain, which further complicates Garland's timeline for a return. Until he's ready to go, Kris Dunn, Kobe Sanders and Jordan Miller should each continue to handle a sizable workload.

Clippers' Darius Garland: Not playing Friday
Garland (toe/recently traded) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Kings, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
Garland was acquired by the Clippers on Tuesday in exchange for James Harden. The former has been also been recovering from a Grade 1 big right toe sprain, so it remains to be seen whether he'll be available to make his Clippers debut against the Timberwolves on Sunday.
