  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Starting sans Williams

Ighodaro is in the Suns' starting lineup against the Bulls on Thursday. The 2024 second-rounder will make his eighth start of the season Thursday (and first since Dec. 29 against the Wizards) due to the absence of Mark Williams, the latter of whom is expected to miss at least 2-to-3 weeks due to a left foot injury. Ighodoro is coming off a strong performance against the Kings on Tuesday, when he logged 14 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and one block over 26 minutes.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Notches third double-double

Ighodaro produced 14 points (7-10 FG, 0-2 FT), 14 rebounds, three assists and one block in 26 minutes during Tuesday's 114-103 win over the Kings. Ighodaro has now secured three double-doubles since Feb. 10 and has shown that he can produce across the board. He set a new season high in rebounds Tuesday and posted his best scoring night since Jan. 2, when he put up 15 points against Sacramento. Ighodaro is averaging 8.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals over his last six games.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Double-double against Orlando

Ighodaro amassed 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-1 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist and two steals across 30 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 113-110 double-overtime victory over the Magic. The second-year center recorded his first career double-double two games prior to the All-Star break, and he didn't wait long to deliver his second one. Ighodaro is finding a bit of a groove of late, and over his last four games he's averaging 9.8 points, 7.0 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks in 22.0 minutes.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: First career double-double Tuesday

Ighodaro posted 10 points (5-6 FG), 10 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 23 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 120-111 victory over the Mavericks. The double-double was the first of Ighodaro's career. The second-year center had pulled down double-digit boards three times previously this season, but he hadn't managed to score in double digits in any of those contests. Ighodaro is holding down a consistent role in the Suns' frontcourt, but over the last 16 games, he's averaging just 6.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.8 blocks in 21.3 minutes with the second unit.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Supplies career-high six steals

Ighodaro recorded 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-5 FT), three rebounds, one block and six steals in 26 minutes during Thursday's 108-105 loss to Detroit. Ighodaro set a new career high with six steals in the close loss, doing what he could to make up for the absence of Devin Booker (ankle). It's been a strong month for the second-year big, who has averaged 6.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 steals across 23.5 minutes in his past 15 games. Those aren't elite numbers, but he's arguably making a much bigger impact than the box score would suggest.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Nearly double-doubles

Ighodaro logged nine points (4-5 FG, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals across 27 minutes during Monday's 100-97 loss to Houston. Mark Williams had a quiet outing in 21 minutes, while Ighodaro was far more effective in this one. He's trending up in deeper formats, posting averages of 6.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.5 blocks in 24.0 minutes over his last eight contests.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Season-best performance

Ighodaro supplied 15 points (5-7 FG, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals in 20 minutes during Friday's 129-102 victory over Sacramento. Ighodaro turned in a gem of a performance, scoring at least 15 points for just the second time this season, while also adding four combined steals and blocks. Up against an undermanned Sacramento team, Ighodaro made the most of a favorable situation. However, managers will want to be cautious moving forward, given that he had scored single digits in eight of the previous nine games.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Strong showing on boards

Ighodaro recorded six points (2-3 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals over 30 minutes during Monday's 115-101 win over the Wizards. Ighodaro wasn't overly impressive as a scorer Monday night, but he led the Suns in rebounds. He's now racked up double-digit boards in back-to-back games while filling in as the starting center. Mark Williams will presumably return to the starting lineup Wednesday in Cleveland after serving his one-game suspension.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Starting vs. New Orleans

Ighodaro is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Pelicans. Even though Mark Williams is available to play Saturday, the Suns will go with Ighodaro at center on the second leg of a back-to-back set. Ighodaro averaged 6.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in his previous five starts this season.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Records five steals off bench

Ighodaro closed Thursday's 99-98 victory over the Warriors with two points (1-3 FG), 13 rebounds, one block and five steals across 28 minutes. Ighodaro stood out for his defensive performance against the Warriors, notching season-high tallies in rebounds and steals. The 23-year-old also saw his most minutes over his last six appearances. However, he has been part of the second unit for almost every game, which isn't likely to change with Mark Williams, Nick Richards and Khaman Maluach all competing for minutes.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Paces bench in win

Ighodaro accumulated 10 points (5-6 FG), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 19 minutes during Monday's 108-105 win over the Timberwolves. Ighodaro was efficient Monday and scored in double figures for the first time since Nov. 18, leading the team's bench in points. The 23-year-old center has seen relatively consistent minutes with the second unit of late, though he doesn't carry much fantasy value unless Mark Williams is unavailable.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Sliding back to bench

Ighodaro won't start Monday against the Lakers, Daniel Starkand of LakersNation.com reports. With Mark Williams (calf) returning to the hardwood, Ighodaro will slide back to the second unit. In his previous five games off the bench, the second-year center averaged 4.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 17.6 minutes per contest.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Muted in loss

Ighodaro ended Monday's 114-92 loss to the Rockets with two points (1-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists and one steal across 20 minutes. Ighodaro was slated to see a bigger role with Mark Williams (rest) being held out for the second leg of Phoenix's back-to-back. However, Ighodaro did not do much in his 20 minutes. His role is very inconsistent, and the volatile nature of his production should be enough to scare fantasy managers away from rostering him.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Impresses off bench

Ighodaro totaled 17 points (7-9 FG, 3-5 FT), seven rebounds, three steals and three blocks in 26 minutes during Thursday's 133-98 win over the Pacers. Ighodaro shouldered a heavy workload Thursday with the Suns electing to hold Mark Williams (leg) out of the second leg of a back-to-back, and partly due to the score getting out of hand early in the second half. Ighodaro made the most of his chances, rarely missing from the field. He set season highs in minutes, points, rebounds, steals and blocks during the blowout victory.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Blocks two shots Tuesday

Ighodaro accumulated two points (1-4 FG), five rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 20 minutes during Tuesday's 118-107 loss to the Warriors. Ighodaro has come off the bench for his past four appearances while Mark Williams takes over the starting center spot. That said, Ighodaro's workload hasn't been affected much, and he's averaging 4.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 17.8 minutes across the season.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Available for Wednesday

Ighodaro (rest) is available for Wednesday's season finale against the Kings, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports. Ighodaro joined most of the team's key players on the sidelines for the preseason finale, but he's cleared to return to the floor. With Phoenix's frontcourt fully healthy to start the new year, the 2024 second-rounder could be outside the rotation.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Grabs nine boards in preseason win

Ighodaro logged five points (2-4 FG, 1-6 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and one steal over 26 minutes in Friday's 103-81 preseason win over the Lakers. Ighodaro led both teams in rebounding Friday, though he wasn't able to convert on his free-throw opportunities. The 2024 second-rounder saw an uptick in playing time towards the tail end of his rookie season. He averaged 6.6 points on 64.6 percent shooting, 5.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.8 blocks over 25.6 minutes per game over the final 17 games (four starts) of the 2024-25 campaign. Ighodaro could see meaningful minutes as the first big man off the bench for the upcoming season.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Fills up stat sheet in loss

Ighodaro finished with 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks across 29 minutes during Sunday's 98-80 Summer League loss to the Hawks. Ighodaro continues to play well during the Summer League in Las Vegas, as he came one rebound short of recording a second straight double-double. His motivation level is undoubtedly high, considering he's trying to prove he deserves a roster spot in a crowded frontcourt in Phoenix or on another squad in the NBA.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Crashes glass in win

Ighodaro racked up 11 points (4-5 FG, 3-4 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists and three steals during Friday's Summer League 103-84 win against the Wizards. Ighodaro was a monster on the glass Friday, as he grabbed a game-high 14 boards. The Marquette product has gotten off to a good start in Summer League. He'll try to prove his worth now that Phoenix has a crowded frontcourt headlined by Mark Williams, Nick Richards (elbow) and rookie Khaman Maluach at the center position.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Back in first unit

Ighodaro is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Oklahoma City. Ighodaro will fill in for Nick Richards (elbow) on Wednesday, marking the rookie center's fifth career start. In his other four appearances with the starters, Ighodaro averaged 9.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals across 34.0 minutes.
