  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Sitting out Friday

Mobley has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Hornets due to left calf injury management. In his return Thursday from a seven-game absence due to a left calf strain, Mobley was limited to just 19 minutes in the Cavaliers' 112-84 blowout win over the Nets, finishing with 10 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt), nine rebounds, two assists and one block. Though Mobley appears to have emerged from the contest without any setback, the Cavaliers will exercise some caution for the second leg of a back-to-back set. With Mobley sitting out, the Cavaliers could reopen a spot in the rotation for Thomas Bryant, while players such as Jarrett Allen, Dean Wade, Sam Merrill, Nae'Qwan Tomlin (calf) and Jaylon Tyson could have higher minutes floors.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Eases back into rotation

Mobley (calf) logged 10 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt), nine rebounds, two assists and one block across 19 minutes during Thursday's 112-84 victory over Brooklyn. Mobley had a successful return after missing the Cavaliers' final seven games before the All-Star break due to a strained left calf. He nearly finished with a double-double in just 19 minutes as the Cavaliers cruised to an easy win and didn't need to extend their starters. Mobley also played alongside trade-deadline pickup James Harden for the first time, and the pair will look to grow their chemistry in the games to come. The Cavaliers will conclude their back-to-back set Friday with a matchup against the Hornets, and given the light workload he handled Thursday, Mobley could be cleared to play in Charlotte.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Officially available

Mobley (calf) will play in Thursday's game against Brooklyn. Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson said Wednesday morning that Mobley was on track to face the Nets, and Cleveland's initial injury report confirmed that sentiment. Mobley missed seven straight games leading up to the All-Star break with a strained left calf. He's averaging 17.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 blocks across 33.4 minutes per game this season.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Expected to play Thursday

Cavaliers coach Kenny Atkinson said Wednesday that Mobley (calf) is on track to play Thursday against the Nets, Spencer Davies of ClutchPoints.com reports. Mobley has missed the Cavaliers' last seven games after he strained his left calf in the team's Jan. 26 win over the Magic. However, he received a positive update prior to the All-Star break, and he continues to trend in the right direction. Thursday's game is the front end of a back-to-back set, so it will be interesting to see how the team handles this.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Won't play Wednesday

Mobley (calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Wizards. Mobley will miss his seventh consecutive contest due to a left calf strain, and his next opportunity to return to action will come against Brooklyn on Feb. 19. With Dean Wade (ankle) also sidelined, Jaylon Tyson, Nae'Qwan Tomlin and Sam Merrill are candidates to see an uptick in minutes.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Could miss up to three weeks

Mobley (calf) is expected to miss at least one week, Chris Haynes of NBA TV reports. Mobley has been diagnosed with a strained left calf, and the star big man could be sidelined for as many as three weeks. With the All-Star break looming in the middle of February, it's possible that the Cavaliers will exercise caution with Mobley. In the meantime, Nae'Qwan Tomlin, Jaylon Tyson and Dean Wade will all be asked to step up in the frontcourt.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Needs 14 shots to score 13 points

Mobley ended Saturday's 119-105 win over the Magic with 13 points (4-14 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block in 35 minutes. While Mobley shot a respectable 37 percent from distance over his previous two seasons, he's struggled mightily from beyond the arc this year, converting just 30.9 percent of his three-point attempts. The shooting woes have been especially pronounced since December, as Mobley has gone 14-for-68 from deep over that span. He's still attempting 3.1 triples per game, suggesting the 24-year-old forward hasn't backed off despite the prolonged slump.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Nears triple-double in win

Mobley closed with 29 points (13-24 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 13 rebounds, eight assists and four blocks across 35 minutes in Friday's 123-118 win over Sacramento. Mobley matched his season highs in points and assists while also pulling down double-digit rebounds in a win. The big night came after the power forward entered Friday averaging 16.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.5 blocks and 1.2 steals over his past 10 games. With Cleveland falling short of expectations so far this season, performances like this -- especially the added scoring punch -- would be a welcome development moving forward.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Double-doubles, rejects three shots

Mobley logged 14 points (6-13 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 14 rebounds, one steal and three blocks across 35 minutes of Wednesday's 94-87 win over Charlotte. Mobley's 14 rebounds tied his season high and were his most since Nov. 30. Additionally, he blocked at least three shots for the fourth time in five games. During that five-game stretch, he's averaging 15.4 points, 9.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.0 blocks. Mobley has 16 double-doubles this season.

Mobley amassed 16 points (7-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in 31 minutes during Monday's 136-104 loss to the Thunder. The Cavaliers were blown out of this game, dropping to 24-20 on the season. Mobley has yet to make the leap many fantasy managers were hoping for, as he's currently sitting at a fourth-round valuation in nine-category formats with 17.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.9 blocks and 1.2 three-pointers.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Another efficient outing

Mobley registered 24 points (11-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two steals over 32 minutes during the Cavaliers' 146-134 win over the Timberwolves on Saturday. Mobley was unable to connect on any of his attempts from deep, but he was efficient inside the arc and finished Saturday's win as the Cavaliers' second-leading scorer behind Donovan Mitchell (28 points), with the former scoring 16 of his points in the second half. Mobley has connected on 50 percent or more of his field goals in six of his last seven outings, and over that span he has averaged 16.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 2.6 blocks and 1.0 steals over 32.4 minutes per game.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Hosts New Year's Eve block party

Mobley tallied 16 points (7-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists, five blocks and one steal over 29 minutes during Cleveland's 129-113 win over Phoenix on Wednesday. Mobley was one of three Cavaliers players to finish with a double-double Wednesday, but he made most of his presence felt on the defensive side of the floor with five blocks, tying a season high he set against the Trail Blazers on Dec. 3. Mobley has started and logged 29 minutes in back-to-back games while he continues to work his way back from a calf strain that caused him to miss five games in December. He has opened the 2025-26 regular season averaging 18.2 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.3 threes, 1.7 blocks and 0.9 steals over 33.3 minutes per game.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Rejoining first unit

Mobley will start Monday's game against the Spurs. Mobley has been deployed off the bench in his first two games back from a calf strain, but the team has determined that he's ready to rejoin the starters. He's logged 25 and 20 minutes in two appearances since getting the green light to return, so it remains to be seen whether he'll be on any type of restriction Monday evening. Sam Merrill will retreat to a bench role following this lineup shift.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Productive off bench in return

Mobley (calf) provided 14 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds and three assists across 25 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 126-124 loss to New York. Returning from a five-game absence due to a calf strain, Mobley was eased back into action with the second unit for the first time in his career but still nearly recorded his fifth straight double-double despite a restricted workload. The fifth-year big man had been on a roll prior to the injury, averaging 19.5 points, 10.3 boards, 4.3 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.4 three-pointers in 33.9 minutes over his last 10 games.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Game-time decision Thursday

Mobley (calf) will undergo a thorough pregame workout before a final determination is made on his availability for Thursday's matchup against the Knicks, Danny Cunningham of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Mobley hasn't played since Dec. 12 due to a Grade 1 left calf strain but will attempt to return for Thursday's Christmas clash. If active, Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson indicated the big man will be on a minutes restriction. Prior to the injury, the USC product was producing at a steady level, averaging 19.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.9 blocks over his previous 10 appearances. Dean Wade would likely move back to a bench role if Mobley is cleared to play.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Fourth straight double-double

Mobley finished with 23 points (7-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 7-9 FT), 13 rebounds and six assists over 36 minutes during Friday's 130-126 victory over the Wizards. Mobley has been a consistent source of points and rebounds for the Cavaliers this season. This was his fourth straight double-double, and he's reached that feat in eight of his last 10 games. He's not going to unsettle Donovan Mitchell as the team's primary scoring option, but his consistency has been remarkable. Over his last 10 games, Mobley is averaging 19.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.9 blocks per contest.

Mobley delivered an abysmal performance from beyond the arc, though he still finished as Cleveland's second-leading scorer. The big man was also active on the glass, securing his third consecutive double-double and 12th on the season. Additionally, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year chipped in at least one block for a fourth straight game and is averaging 1.7 swats per tilt through 24 regular-season outings.

Mobley (illness) will play in Friday's game against the Spurs, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Mobley recorded 27 points (11-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 14 rebounds and four assists in 38 minutes during Sunday's 117-115 loss to the Celtics. Mobley put together arguably his best performance of the season Sunday, logging his second-highest scoring total and matching his season best in rebounds. Mobley did, however, break his streak of four consecutive games with at least one block, and it was just the second time this season he failed to collect a block or steal. The star big man has now double-doubled in four of his last five appearances.

Mobley produced 22 points (7-13 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 7-11 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and four blocks across 35 minutes during Friday's 120-109 win over the Pacers. Mobley reached the 20-point mark for the fifth time in 10 November appearances. He's doing more than just scoring, as the big man also tied his season-high mark in blocks with four. Mobley continues to establish himself as a productive presence for the Cavaliers with averages of 18.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 blocks per night over his past 10 games.
