Lakers' LeBron James: Struggles in blowout loss
James recorded 11 points (3-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five assists, three rebounds and one steal in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 129-99 loss to the Cavaliers.
James returned to Cleveland to face the team that selected him with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft and played what could very well be his final NBA game in the city. The 41-year-old couldn't get into a rhythm in this one and scored fewer than 17 points for the first time since Dec. 4, when he scored eight in a win over Toronto. The superstar still dished out five assists in his limited run against the Cavaliers, and he has recorded at least five dimes in 12 of his 14 appearances this month.

Lakers' LeBron James: Adds 24 points in win
James ended with 24 points (9-19 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Monday's 129-118 victory over the Bulls.
James got off to a strong start in this one, scoring 20 of his 24 points in the first half. While he shot 0-for-4 from the field and scored just four points in the second half, the superstar still finished as Los Angeles' second-leading scorer behind Luka Doncic (46 points). James was inefficient from three-point range and has shot just 27.3 percent from deep over his last three games. However, he has still reached the 20-point threshold in two of those three outings.

Lakers' LeBron James: Fuels comeback in Dallas
James closed with 17 points (8-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt), eight rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal over 37 minutes during Saturday's 116-110 victory over the Mavericks.
Eleven of James' points came in the fourth quarter, as the Lakers erased a 14-point deficit in the final nine minutes. The future Hall of Famer is having a productive January, averaging 24.8 points, 7.5 boards, 7.3 assists, 1.6 threes and 1.2 steals over his last 12 games.

Lakers' LeBron James: Pours in 23 points
James racked up 23 points (9-19 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, six assists and two steals over 36 minutes during Thursday's 112-104 loss to the Clippers.
James has scored 20-plus points in 10 of his last 11 games and remains an effective distributor, dishing out at least six assists in 16 of 26 games this season. The 41-year-old forward has still been highly productive over the past two weeks, ranking as the No. 5 overall player in nine-category leagues. Through 11 games this month, the 21-time All-Star is averaging 25.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.2 steals over 33.8 minutes per contest.

Lakers' LeBron James: Teases triple-double in win
James supplied 19 points (8-15 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-6 FT), nine rebounds and eight assists across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 115-107 victory over the Nuggets.
While Luka Doncic recorded a triple-double in the win, James fell a little short of collecting his first of the season. It's been that kind of week for the future Hall of Famer, as James also fell short of being named a starter for the All-Star Game, the first time that's happened since he was a rookie. The 41-year-old forward is still having a very productive January, averaging 25.8 points, 7.7 boards, 7.6 assists, 1.7 threes and 1.1 steals over 10 games.

Lakers' LeBron James: Provides 24 points in victory
James produced 24 points (9-17 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and two blocks across 32 minutes during Sunday's 110-93 victory over the Raptors.
While James has often taken a seat for one game of back-to-back sets, the Lakers' skid in the Western Conference standings has demanded an increased presence from the veteran. He played both games of the back-to-back for only the second time this season and showed no immediate signs of wear after a brutal schedule of five games over seven days. James continues to embrace his role as a ball distributor, as his seven-assist effort raised his seasonal average to 6.9 assists per game.

Lakers' LeBron James: Will play Sunday
James (foot/sciatica) is available for Sunday's game against the Raptors, Daniel Starkand of LakersNation.com reports.
After posting 20 points (6-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT), nine rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and one steal in 32 minutes during Saturday's loss to Portland, James will shed his questionable tag and suit up in the second leg of this back-to-back set. The 41-year-old has appeared in each of the Lakers' last five outings, averaging 25.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.6 steals across 32.8 minutes per game during that span.

Lakers' LeBron James: Game-time call Sunday
James is questionable for Sunday's game against the Raptors due to left foot joint arthritis, Dan Woike of The Athletic reports.
James is fresh off an impressive performance in Saturday's loss to the Blazers but evidently isn't feeling 100 percent leading up to the second half of the team's back-to-back. Expect the Lakers to provide an update on his availability closer to game time.

Lakers' LeBron James: Nears triple-double in blowout loss
James accumulated 20 points (6-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT), nine rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and one steal in 32 minutes during Saturday's 132-116 loss to the Trail Blazers.
The Lakers' efficiency was severely hampered by Luka Doncic's (groin) absence, and James was unable to turn the tide against the surging Trail Blazers. Despite the productive result, it's evident that James' days of single-handedly taking over games in dire situations are mostly behind him, but his attempt to reverse the slide was also hampered by absences from Deandre Ayton (knee) and Jaxson Hayes (hamstring). Austin Reaves' (calf) extended absence hasn't helped matters either.

Lakers' LeBron James: Flirts with triple-double
James notched 31 points (12-20 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, 10 assists, one block and one steal over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 141-116 victory over the Hawks.
James came close to his first triple-double since last February, which coincidentally coincided with the acquisition of Luka Doncic that occurred later that evening. James also played both games of this week's back-to-back set, which is a rarity for the 23-year veteran this season. His 31-point effort matched his second-best scoring total of the season.
