The Cleveland Browns are hurting at the moment, and not just because they are coming off a drubbing at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals. Because Cleveland is scheduled to play on "Thursday Night Football" this week, the Browns were required to submit an estimated injury report on Monday.
That injury report was quite extensive, with 20 players listed with an injury designation. Among those players are more than 10 starters, including the quarterback, three offensive linemen, both running backs, the entire defensive line, and three corners.
The following players received a Did Not Practice designation from the Browns: Odell Beckham Jr., Nick Chubb, Jack Conklin, A.J. Green, Kareem Hunt, Baker Mayfield, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Malcolm Smith, JC Tretter, and Jedrick Wills.

Mayfield was sent for an MRI on his injured non-throwing shoulder, which he reinjured on Sunday against Arizona. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said he could not confirm if Mayfield would start until the results of that MRI came back.
Chubb missed Sunday's game after not practicing at all last week, while Hunt was limited in practices and then reinjured during the game before having to be helped off the field. Hunt and Owusu-Koramoah are expected to miss extended time with their respective injuries, and will be placed on injured reserve.
As if that wasn't all bad enough, the Browns listed Mack Wilson, David Njoku, Takkarist McKinley, Malik Jackson, and Jadeveon Clowney as limited with various injuries. They also listed Myles Garrett, Malik McDowell, Greg Newsome II, Denzel Ward, and Greedy Williams on the report, albeit as would-have-been full participants despite their ailments.
Cleveland plays a game on Thursday, and does not take its bye until Week 14. The Browns do not have much time to get healthy, and will not get an extended break their bye. They'll have to hope that the mini-bye between "Thursday Night Football" and their Week 8 game allows them to heal just a bit.
