The Baltimore Ravens (1-1) and the Dallas Cowboys (1-1) delivered the offensive fireworks everyone expected in Rio de Janeiro with the Ravens leading 17-13 at halftime.
Dallas raced out to a 10-0 lead after first-round rookie safety Caleb Downs stuffed Ravens running back Derrick Henry on a fourth-and-1 run up the middle on Baltimore's second drive of the game. Cowboys running back Javonte Williams powered his way into the end zone from 2 yards to capitalize on the turnover downs Dallas' defense forced to put them up 10-0 with 4:32 left in the first quarter. He finished the half with 55 yards rushing and a touchdown on 12 carries.
However, Henry got his revenge by capping Baltimore's next two drives with rushing touchdowns from 4 yards out and 3 yards out to power the Ravens out to a 14-10 advantage with 11:23 left in the half. In the process, Henry climbed pass Pro Football Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson for ninth on the NFL's all-time rushing yards list. He finished the half with 47 yards rushing and two rushing touchdowns on 13 carries. Quarterback Lamar Jackson finished with 58 yards through the air on 6 of 9 passing while adding 22 yards on the ground on two carries.
The Cowboys had to settle for the second Brandon Aubrey field goal of the game with just 18 seconds left before halftime after consecutive incompletions. They'll get the football back at the start of the third quarter. Quarterback Dak Prescott completed 11 of his 17 first-half throws for 73 yards through the air.
Will Dallas jump back in front on the strength of Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens and their passing game? Or will Baltimore continue to keep them in check and hang on to a narrow lead?

Jackson kept the play alive after a fake handoff and toss before eventually finding 11-year veteran receiver Chris Moore for the four-yard score. It's Moore's first receiving touchdown since Week 6 of the 2025 season with the Washington Commanders. Baltimore now leads Dallas 24-13 with 3:44 left in the third quarter.
Dallas is down to Alijah Clark, Markquese Bell and Caleb Downs at safety at the moment.
After Pro Bowl defensive tackle Quinnen Williams stuffed a second down Derrick Henry run for a loss of five, fill-in safety Alijah Clark broke up Lamar Jackson's deep pass to Devontez Walker. Dallas takes over on their own 33 down 17-13 with 8:55 left in the third quarter.
Dallas went with a shovel pass up the middle to tight end Jake Ferguson, and he fumbled the football. After replay review, it was determined the pass was complete, so it's a fumble and a takeaway for the Ravens. Baltimore takes over on their own 25 up 17-13.
With Ravens All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton out of the game, Dak Prescott is able to find CeeDee Lamb over the middle for a gain of 13 yards to move the chains. Hamilton's absence could swing this game in the Cowboys' favor.
Dallas needs to get both Pickens and Lamb going down the field if they're going to have a chance to win this game against Baltimore.
Cowboys safety Markquese Bell, who gave up the big pass interference penalty earlier, was in coverage on Lamar Jackson's incomplete to Zay Flowers on third-and-6 on the Dallas' nine. The Ravens settled for a field goal, and they now lead 17-10 with 4:44 left in the first half.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott audibled to a shotgun run to the right side of the line for running back Javonte Williams, and the Ravens plugged that hole so quickly Williams fumbled. He recovered the loose ball, but Williams lost a yard in the process for a turnover on downs.

Henry powers his way around the right edge of the line of scrimmage for a three-yard rushing touchdown, his second of the day. Cowboys safety Markquese Bell helped set up the Ravens touchdown with his 49-yard defensive pass interference penalty that advanced Baltimore's drive down to the Dallas 3. Baltimore leads for the first time, now up 14-10 with 11:23 left in the half.
Dak Prescott tried Baltimore Ravens All-Pro S Kyle Hamilton on the third-and-6 throw to Dallas Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson, and Hamilton broke up the pass. Going to take near perfection from Prescott to Ferguson to win that matchup. Dallas leads 10-7 at the end of the first quarter.
Derrick Henry gets his revenge on the Ravens' second drive of the game. Baltimore dialed up a formation with him as the Wildcat quarterback, and Henry bulldozed his way into the end zone on a four-yard plunge. He's up to 28 yards rushing and a touchdown on eight carries through two drives. Dallas leads 10-7 with 1:18 left in the first quarter.
Brian Schottenheimer didn't mess around on the Dallas Cowboys' second goal-to-go possession. He fed running back Javonte Williams, and Williams rumbles into the end zone with a two-yard touchdown. Dallas leads Baltimore 10-0 with 4:32 left in the first quarter.

Dallas appeared destined for a touchdown after having first and goal at the five. However, the Cowboys couldn't get over the goal line. A four-yard carry by Javonte Williams got the Cowboys down to the one, but then a second down incompletion, and Ravens All-Pro linebacker Roquan Smith smoking Dak Prescott on a blitz forced a 28-yard field goal. Dallas leads 3-0 with 8:10 left in the first quarter. The Cowboys probably score if they had just kept feeding running back Javonte Williams. He had six carries for 44 yards on the first Dallas drive of the day.
Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl defensive tackle Quinnen William's pressure up the middle forced Jackson to overthrow a wide open Mark Andrews on third-and-4 on the opening series. Dallas' maligned defense gets an immediate three-and-out, and Dak Prescott and the offense start their first drive at their own 33 in a 0-0 ballgame.

George Pickens (52) and CeeDee Lamb (49) both rank in the top three in the entire NFL in catches of 20-plus air yards since the start of the 2022 season, when Pickens entered the league as a second-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pickens leads the league in that metric while Lamb is tied for third.
Downs, an All-American defensive back at Ohio State who the Cowboys selected 11th overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, leads the Cowboys in both tackles (17) and sacks (1.0). His sack came against New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart in Week 1 in a blitz off the edge of the line of scrimmage. Downs is the only Cowboy with a sack this season.
After throwing four touchdowns in Dallas' Week 2 win against the Washington Commanders, Prescott entered Week 3 ranked in the league's top five in both completion percentage (73.8%, fourth) and passing touchdowns (6, tied for first). Three of Prescott's six touchdown passes have been to wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who had jus three all of 2025.
Flowers missed the Ravens' Week 2 loss against the New Orleans Saints with a hamstring injury, but he was electric in Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts with a career-high 150 yards receiving in addition to a touchdown on five catches. The two-time Pro Bowler's presence will dramatically open up the field for Jackson and Henry.
Henry leads the NFL in carries (672), rushing yards (3,728) and rushing touchdowns (36) since becoming a Raven in 2024.
Ravens five-time Pro Bowl running back Derrick Henry is on the verge of more NFL history. He is just 30 yards rushing away from passing Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson on the all-time list. If he goes off for 100 yards against the Cowboys, he'll have 57 career such games. That would rank as tied for the seventh-most in NFL history.

The Ravens two-time league MVP quarterback is a unique challenge to game plan against. Jackson is both the NFL's all-time leader in passer rating (102.2, minimum 75 games) and rushing yards among quarterbacks (6,596). Entering Week 3, Jackson led the NFL in yards per pass attempt (10.0) this season. That's why NFC teams who don't regularly play against him struggle to adequately game plan and execute against him defensively. CBS Sports NFL analyst JJ Watt took around the field at Maracanã Stadium in Rio today, and he discovered plug of artificial turf threaded into the grass. That's why the NFL has had to clear up concerns about the playing surface all week. The stadium has hosted two World Cup Finals (1950, 2014) and the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Today's game between the Ravens and Cowboys taking place at Estádio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is the third NFL game in the country. The prior two games took place in Sao Paolo at Corinthians Arena.
Last season, the Los Angeles Chargers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 27-21 in Sao Paulo, and in 2024, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Green Bay Packers 34-29.
