Two Chiefs receivers scored touchdowns Sunday against the Jaguars in Week 1 with Donnie Avery and Junior Hemingway. Both are not worth adding in the majority of leagues.
Avery has some potential as the starter opposite Dwayne Bowe, but this passing attack won't produce enough consistent production for Avery and Hemingway to be successful for most leagues. Avery finished Sunday with two catches for 11 yards and the touchdown on five targets, and Hemingway had one catch for 3 yards and the score on one target.
Keep an eye on what both receivers do in Week 2 against Dallas, but don't bother with either guy on waivers this week.
