Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford enjoyed a good season opener against the Chargers on Sunday. Stafford completed 19 of 30 pass attempts for 246 total yards and threw two touchdown passes along with a pair of interceptions. The Lions fell short however, ultimately losing 33-28.

Stafford threw an 18-yard touchdown to Eric Ebron in the second quarter to give the Lions a 21-3 advantage. He capped the scoring by hitting Theo Riddick with a 21-yard score in the fourth quarter.

The Lions will head to Minnesota to take on the Vikings in Week 2 action.
