The Panthers have released safety Thomas DeCoud on Tuesday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. DeCoud, 29, signed with Carolina last offseason after spending his first six seasons in Atlanta. He started 11 games for Carolina in 2014, registering 50 tackles and one interception.
