Spencer Lanning was the only punter left on the Browns Thursday after T.J. Conley was waived, reports the Akron Beacon Journal. Lanning will remain the starter unless the team decides to bring in more competition. Lanning earned the job by averaging 45.8 yards a punt in eight preseason attempts.
