  • Vikings' Luke Stocker: Bumped up from practice squad

Stocker was signed to the active roster Thursday, Craig Peters of the Vikings' official site reports. Stocker has been back and forth between the practice squad and active roster over the past few weeks. He appeared in the Vikings' Week 6 and Week 8 contests against the Panthers and Cowboys, respectively, playing a total of 26 snaps from scrimmage in those games and converting his only target into a seven-yard reception. With Ben Ellefson (foot/knee) placed on IR, it's likely Stocker will file in behind Tyler Conklin and Chris Herndon on the Vikings' tight end depth chart against the Ravens on Sunday.

Stocker reverted to the Vikings' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transactions report. • Luke Stocker: Let go by Tennessee

The Titans released Stocker on Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official website reports. Stocker was signed by the Titans this offseason to provide some depth in the Titans' tight end room after Jonnu Smith left for New England. The 33-year-old isn't much of a pass-catching threat, but he may draw interest elsewhere as a blocking tight end.

  • Titans' Luke Stocker: Signs with Titans

Stocker signed a contract with the Titans on Saturday, NFL reporter Aaron Wilson reports. Stocker will add depth to a Titans tight end room that's now headlined by Anthony Firkser in the aftermath of Jonnu Smith's departure. The 33-year-old Stocker has never caught more than 16 passes in a season, and that career-high total came way back in 2012, so his biggest impact will likely come in a blocking role if he's able to make the team.

  • Falcons' Luke Stocker: Makes 13-yard grab against ex-team

Stocker secured his only target for 13 yards during Sunday's 44-27 loss to Tampa Bay. Taking on his former team of seven years, Stocker made his fourth reception of the regular season's final three weeks. He tallied 43 yards with those passing-game opportunities against the Buccaneers, Chiefs and Buccaneers again, after totaling just three catches for 20 yards over his first 13 outings of the year. The veteran tight end is set to become an unrestricted free agent in March, but Atlanta could elect to bring him back due to his abilities as a blocker.

  • Falcons' Luke Stocker: Will play Sunday

Stocker (elbow) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Will McFadden of AtlantaFalcons.com reports. Despite remaining limited in practice all week, Stocker will be available for the Falcons' season finale Sunday, though he's yet to accrue more than three targets in a single contest this year.

  • Falcons' Luke Stocker: Limited in practice

Stocker (elbow) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, William McFadden reports. Stocker should have a fair chance at suiting up against the Buccaneers on Sunday as long as he can continue to practice, but Friday's session will likely be the key factor in determining his Week 17 availability. The veteran tight end only has six catches through 15 games.

  • Falcons' Luke Stocker: Lowest usage of 2020

Stocker didn't haul in his lone target in Sunday's 24-9 loss to the Saints. Stocker played just 16 snaps on offense, establishing a new low for the season. This was a schematic decision, as Hayden Hurst's role remained the same while Jaeden Graham also saw a steep decrease in usage. Stocker should remain off fantasy radars.

  • Falcons' Luke Stocker: Registers first catch of 2020

Stocker caught his lone target for a six-yard gain during Sunday's 30-26 loss to Chicago. The 32-year-old tight end accumulated 54 offensive snaps between Weeks 1 and 2 with only one target thrown his way, while starting TE Hayden Hurst attracted 13 targets in comparison. Stocker registered his first catch since Week 17 of last season Sunday, but he shouldn't be expected to be a significant contributor moving forward as he's never exceeded 16 receptions in any of his 10 pro campaigns.

  • Falcons' Luke Stocker: Logs limited practice session

Stocker was limited in practice Wednesday due to a hip injury, Jason Butt of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. The veteran tight end has played 25-plus snaps in both of Atlanta's first two games, but he's been targeted just once. Though he's apparently banged up coming out of the Falcons' 40-39 loss to the Cowboys in Week 2, Stocker's partial participation in practice should put him on track to play this weekend against the Bears.

  • Falcons' Luke Stocker: Officially rejoining Falcons

Stocker re-signed with the Falcons on Friday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. The veteran tight end has gone through COVID-19 testing, and he now prepares to rejoin the Falcons on-field for padded practice after being released by the team in March. Behind starter Hayden Hurst on the tight end depth chart, Stocker bolsters the position group with his run and pass-blocking skills.

  • Falcons' Luke Stocker: Likely returning to Atlanta

Stocker agreed in principle Wednesday on a contract with the Falcons, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. The veteran tight end was released by Atlanta in March, but he'll be back in the fold for training camp to add depth at the position. Behind presumptive starter Hayden Hurst, Stocker will vie for backup reps along with XFL standout Khari Lee, rookie Jared Pinkney, and a pair of holdovers from last year in Jaeden Graham and Carson Meier. Stocker doesn't offer much of a receiving threat, but he'll provide the Falcons with solid blocking if he's able to crack the Week 1 roster.

  • Luke Stocker: Will be released

The Falcons will release Stocker, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Stocker, who caught eight of 14 targets for 53 yards in 15 games with Atlanta last season, will now look to catch on elsewhere as a depth tight end. The 31-year-old is off the fantasy radar, but his blocking ability should help land him a contract elsewhere.

  • Falcons' Luke Stocker: Starts nine times during 2019

Stocker corralled eight of 14 targets for 53 receiving yards during his 2019 debut season with the Falcons. Though he fielded at least 30 percent of Atlanta's offensive snaps in 12 of 15 outings this season, Stocker still garnered fewer than one target per game. The 31-year-old has served almost exclusively as a blocking contributor during his nine NFL seasons, never once exceeding 30 targets or 16 receptions in any campaign. He's under contract with the Falcons for one more season at a cap hit of $3.3 million, and he currently sits alongside Jaeden Graham on the depth chart as a backup to free-agent-to-be Austin Hooper.

  • Falcons' Luke Stocker: Set to play Sunday

Stocker (hip) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Stocker worked as a limited practice participant Thursday and Friday, but the hip injury won't impact his availability for Week 16. The 31-year-old should return to his role as Atlanta's No. 3 tight end.

  • Falcons' Luke Stocker: Limited Thursday

Stocker (hip) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Stocker is making progress in his recovery from a hip injury sustained during Week 15's win over the 49ers. If he's able to suit up against Jacksonville on Sunday, he'll play a depth role in Atlanta's tight end corps.
