Charles Brown: Announces retirement
Brown announced his retirement from the NFL on Tuesday, The Ft. Worth Star-Telegram reports.
The veteran swing tackle just signed a new deal with Dallas in March, but on the eve of training camp, Brown decided to hang up his cleats. Second-year player Chaz Green, who spent all of 2015 on the sidelines after hip surgery, is now the favorite to back up Tyron Smith and Doug Free.
