Josh Bynes: Let go by Ravens
Bynes was waived by the Ravens on Friday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Bynes began the season as a significant part of the Ravens' linebacker corps, even recording 10 tackles in Week 3 against New England. However, he's been a healthy scratch since the team acquired Roquan Smith and became expendable as a result. Bynes will be subject to waivers and will be free to sign with any team if he goes unclaimed.

Bynes (coach's decision) is listed as inactive for Monday's game against the Saints, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Bynes missed the Ravens' Week 8 win over Tampa Bay with a quad injury, but he appeared ready to play again after returning to practice as a full participant Thursday. Now, the veteran will be a healthy scratch for Monday's contest, leaving recently acquired inside linebacker Roquan Smith to play a prominent role alongside Patrick Queen against the Saints. Bynes' next opportunity to play will come against the Panthers on Sunday, Nov. 20.

Bynes (quadriceps) was listed as a full participant on the Ravens' injury report Thursday.
Bynes was questionable with a quad injury before being ruled inactive ahead of Baltimore's win over the Buccaneers last Thursday. Now, the 33-year-old appears to be healthy again after participating without any limitations in the team's first practice of Week 9. Bynes played 260 defensive snaps alongside Patrick Queen over the first seven games of the season, though he could see a decreased role moving forward after the Ravens acquired star inside linebacker Roquan Smith via trade Monday.

Bynes (quadriceps) was ruled inactive ahead of Thursday's game against the Buccaneers.
Bynes will be unable to play Week 8 after coming away with a quadriceps injury from Sunday's win over the Browns. The 33-year-old inside linebacker logged 29 tackles, one sack, two passes defended and an interception over the first seven games of the season, and his next opportunity to play will come against New Orleans on Monday, Nov. 7. In Bynes' absence, expect Malik Harrison to step into a bigger role alongside Patrick Queen on Thursday.
