Browns' LaVar Edwards: Heads to Cleveland
Edwards signed a contract Wednesday with the Browns, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.
Edwards has yet to play in an NFL game in 2017, but has accrued 22 appearances across stops with four teams the past four seasons. The 27-year-old should fill a depth role for the Browns along the defensive line.

LaVar Edwards: Waived by Colts
Edwards was released by the Colts on Friday, Mike Chappell of IndySportsCentral.com reports.
Edwards played in five games for the Colts this season after being claimed off waivers in mid-October, totaling four tackles and a sack in limited action. However, he's been inactive in each of the past two contests and appears to have fallen out of favor in Indianapolis. Fellow outside linebacker and second-year player Deiontrez Mount was signed in a corresponding move.

Colts' LaVar Edwards: Claimed by Colts
Edwards was claimed off waivers by the Colts, Mike Chappell of IndySportsCentral.com reports.
In a surprising move, Edwards was waived by the Panthers on Tuesday despite the fact that his one sack on the year is more than both of Carolina's starting defensive ends combined (0.5 between Charles Johnson and Kony Ealy). Nonetheless, the hybrid linebacker/defensive end will now provide the Colts with depth at a few spots on defense.
