Jets' Chris Jones: Waived by Jets
Jones (undisclosed) was waived by the Jets on Thursday.
Jones hasn't had much impact defensively since he left New England, seeing just 301 defensive snaps and racking up 17 tackles (12 solo) last season. There's a chance he's claimed off waivers by another club, or he will otherwise become a free agent.

49ers' Chris Jones: Signs with 49ers
Jones was signed by the 49ers on Tuesday.
The 49ers bring in Jones to bolster their defensive line after Arik Armstead (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve. Jones has been around the league since he was drafted in 2013 but most recently played for the Dolphins, recording seven tackles in seven games before being cut on Nov. 7. The 26-year-old will compete for reps with backup defensive end Ronald Blair behind new starter DeForest Buckner.

Dolphins' Chris Jones: Re-signs with Dolphins
Jones was re-signed by the Dolphins on Wednesday.
Jones was originally cut by Miami prior to the beginning of the 2016 regular season, but the team will add the defensive tackle back to the roster after placing fellow defensive lineman Earl Mitchell (calf) on Injured Reserve. Jones shouldn't draw much attention in IDP formats as he's simply expected to provide depth for the Dolphins.
