  • Michael Campanaro: Released off IR

Campanaro (undisclosed) was released off injured reserve by the Titians on Tuesday, freelance NFL writer Howard Balzer reports.

Campanaro was placed on IR in late August with the undisclosed injury, and now heads to free agency. The 25-year-old spent the previous four seasons with the Ravens, with his most prominent role as a return man.

  • Titans' Michael Campanaro: Heads to injured reserve

Campanaro (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Campanaro spent the previous four seasons with the Ravens before signing with the Titans this offseason. He has missed a solid portion of training camp and was slowed by injury throughout his tenure with Baltimore. The Titans are now more likely to keep Nick Williams (hamstring), Darius Jennings and/or Deontay Burnett on the 53-man roster.

  • Titans' Michael Campanaro: Out Saturday

Campanaro (undisclosed) won't play Saturday versus the Buccaneers, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.

Campanaro has been sidelined for about one week with an unknown injury, continuing a trend from four mostly injury-plagued seasons with the Ravens. While he's in the conversation for a depth wideout spot and work as a returner in Tennessee, he's not doing himself any favors by spending time in the trainers room.

  • Titans' Michael Campanaro: Misses two days of practice

Campanaro (undisclosed) missed practice Sunday and Monday, Erik Bacharach of The Tennessean reports.

The 2014 seventh-round pick had a tough time staying healthy in Baltimore, playing just 24 games in four seasons with the Ravens. He joined the Titans this offseason as a depth receiver and potential return man, but Rishard Matthews' continued absence with an undisclosed injury could give Campanaro an opportunity to earn a regular job as the slot receiver in three-wide formations. Taywan Taylor has been filling in as the regular starting wideout across from Corey Davis, while Campanaro, Tajae Sharpe and Darius Jennings have all mixed in with the first unit.

  • Titans' Michael Campanaro: Activated off NFI list

Campanaro passed his physical and was activated off the non-football illness list Tuesday, Jason Wolf of The Tennessean reports.

Campanaro appeared in a career-best 13 games with the Ravens last season, though his 263 offensive snaps amounted to just 19 catches on 27 targets for 173 yards and a touchdown. He also served as a returner on both punts and kicks last season and will likely compete with Adoree Jackson for those spots on his new team in 2018.

  • Titans' Michael Campanaro: Placed on NFI list

Campanaro has been placed on the Non-Football Illness list, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Players are scheduled to report to camp Wednesday and there is a chance Campanaro can be added back to the active roster before practices kick off Thursday. However, the wideout may take some extra time to get completely healthy before things ramp up.

  • Titans' Michael Campanaro: Only gets $45k bonus

Campanaro's one-year contract with the Titans is for $880,000, with $45,000 coming in the form of a signing bonus, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.

It's a contract that suggests the 2014 seventh-round pick will need to compete for a roster spot, though he should have the inside track unless Tennessee uses an early draft pick on a wideout. Campanaro was limited by an array of injuries during his four seasons in Baltimore, but he finally managed to play more than four games in 2017, catching 19 of 27 targets for 173 yards and a touchdown while adding 27 punt returns for 291 yards and another score in 13 appearances. He might get a chance to push Taywan Taylor for slot work on offense, but special teams represents the more likely path to a meaningful role. It's surprising the Ravens weren't willing to top this contract, considering they don't have much in the way of wideout depth or potential return specialists.

  • Titans' Michael Campanaro: Signs with Titans

Campanaro signed a one-year contract with the Titans on Tuesday, Jason Wolf of The Tennessean reports.

Campanaro finds a new home in Nashville after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Ravens. Although he has never played a major offensive role, the former seventh-round pick has established himself in the return game. Last season, he recorded 159 kick return yards, 291 punt return yards and a punt return touchdown through 13 contests.

  • Michael Campanaro: Scheduled for Tennessee visit

Campanaro will visit with the Titans on Thursday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.

If he signs with the Titans, Campanaro likely would compete with 2017 third-round pick Taywan Taylor for a role in the slot, providing veteran insurance for a team that doesn't seem to have any interest in re-signing Eric Decker. The 2014 seventh-round pick was hampered by hip, knee, leg and ankle injuries throughout his four seasons in Baltimore, catching 31 of 43 targets for 310 yards and two touchdowns in only 24 games. Campanaro finally stayed healthy for the better part of a season in 2017, catching 19 passes in 13 games while also serving as the Ravens' primary punt returner (10.3 average and a touchdown on 27 returns). Adoree' Jackson handled the role in Tennessee last season, returning 34 punts for 290 yards without a touchdown.

  • Ravens' Michael Campanaro: Turns in best season of young career in 2017

Campanaro appeared in 13 games in 2017, hauling in 19 of 27 targets for 173 yards and a score while adding one punt return for a touchdown.

The Wake Forest product was dinged up at different points of the year, including a shoulder injury that sidelined him two games, but this was still Campanaro's most productive professional season. He had never played more than four games in any of his previous three seasons and had never seen more than seven total touches from scrimmage. Injuries and poor performance from other receivers opened the door for Campanaro to fill the larger role after having been relegated to being a gadget player in the past. The Ravens could be losing some of their top veteran receivers this offseason, but Campanaro is hitting free agency in his own right. Baltimore's familiarity with Campanaro makes it feasible to see the team bringing him back on the cheap, but the Ravens will likely be adding new starting receivers externally as well.

  • Ravens' Michael Campanaro: Back on active roster

Campanaro is listed as active Sunday against the Lions.

Campanaro is back in the mix for Baltimore after being a healthy scratch in Week 12. The 24-year-old is likely fourth in line for targets among Baltimore wideouts, as his biggest contributions are in the return game.

  • Ravens' Michael Campanaro: Inactive Monday

Campanaro is inactive for Monday night's game against the Texans, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Campanaro wasn't on the Ravens' Week 12 injury report, so this is a bit of a surprise, given his utility as a punt returner. Lardarius Webb figures to replace Campanaro in that role Monday, while the Ravens' wideout corps will be comprised of Jeremy Maclin, Mike Wallace, Chis Moore and Breshad Perriman.

  • Ravens' Michael Campanaro: Sees minimal role Sunday

Campanaro saw just six offensive snaps in Sunday's win over the Packers.

Even though Breshad Perriman was inactive, Campanaro still couldn't crack the rotation for the Ravens. He was on the field for six out of a possible 59 plays. Aside from a two-game stretch where Campanaro saw 45 and 49 percent of the snaps, Campanaro hasn't cracked the 30 percent threshold in any of his other games. He figures to remain as a fringe option in the Ravens offense.

  • Ravens' Michael Campanaro: Could see added work with Perriman scratched

Campanaro (shoulder) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Though listed as questionable for the contest by the Ravens, Campanaro practiced fully all week, so it's no surprise that he's available. With fellow wideout Breshad Perriman inactive, Campanaro is a candidate to see added work in the Ravens' three-receiver sets alongside starters Jeremy Maclin and Mike Wallace.

  • Ravens' Michael Campanaro: Full speed ahead

Campanaro (shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

As a result, Campanaro looks to be in line to play Sunday against the Packers, though his role as the No. 4 wideout in a weak passing attack won't yield much fantasy utility. However, considering the Ravens' top three receivers have all missed time at some point this season, Campanaro could gain traction in deeper leagues if injuries hit the wideout corps again at some point in the second half of the campaign.

  • Ravens' Michael Campanaro: Nearing return

The Ravens released running back Bobby Rainey on Monday, which indicates that Campanaro (shoulder) could be in line to return for Week 11, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Campanaro has been sidelined the previous two games while nursing a shoulder injury. The 26-year-old has notched just 12 receptions for 91-yards to go along with 33-yards on four carries through seven games, so he does not figure to play much of a role on offense should he return. However, he could be in a position to see an increased workload should fellow pass-catcher Jeremy Maclin (shoulder) miss some time.

  • Ravens' Michael Campanaro: Ruled out

Campanaro (shoulder) was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Titans.

Campanaro will miss his second consecutive game due to his shoulder injury. The Ravens will be well-stocked at receiver despite his absence, however, with Mike Wallace, Jeremy Maclin (shoulder) and Breshad Perriman all expected to available.

  • Ravens' Michael Campanaro: Fails to practice Thursday

Campanaro (shoulder) isn't practicing Thursday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Campanaro didn't practice Wednesday either, putting his status for the Week 9 matchup with the Titans in peril. The Ravens are expected to have their top three wideouts -- Mike Wallace, Jeremy Maclin (shoulder) and Breshad Perriman --available for that contest, however, so the likely absence of Campanaro should go mostly unnoticed in the fantasy realm.

  • Ravens' Michael Campanaro: Inactive Thursday

Campanaro (shoulder) is inactive for Thursday night's game against the Dolphins.

While the Ravens are without Campanaro, Mike Wallace and Chris Matthews, Jeremy Maclin and Breshad Perriman are in uniform Thursday and in line to head the team's Week 8 wideout corps, with Chris Moore and Griff Whalen also in the mix.
