Raiders' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Signs with Vegas
Wreh-Wilson agreed to a contract with the Raiders on Wednesday, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
The 31-year-old spent the past five years in Atlanta and led the team with three interceptions in 2020, despite playing only 242 defensive snaps. Wreh-Wilson will be fighting for a depth role at cornerback in training camp with Las Vegas.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Leads team with three INTS in 2020
Wreh-Wilson, who notched two tackles during Atlanta's 44-27 Week 17 loss to the Buccaneers, closed out the 2020 season with nine tackles, four pass deflections and three interceptions over 15 appearances.
Wreh-Wilson delivered interceptions in Weeks 3, 8 and 14, providing the eight-year NFL veteran with the Falcons team lead in the category despite him not registering a single start all season. The UConn standout only exceeded 30 defensive snaps in three games, as Atlanta relied upon A.J. Terrell, Isaiah Oliver, Kendall Sheffield and Darqueze Dennard (quadriceps) for regular cornerback snaps. Wreh-Wilson is set to become an unrestricted free agent in March after pulling in $1.1 million in base salary during 2020.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Recovered from illness
Wreh-Wilson (illness) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
Wreh-Wilson left in the first half of last week's game after feeling ill, but he seems to be over the effects of the illness and should be good to go for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Atlanta's beleaguered secondary will need all the help it can get against Patrick Mahomes and the high-flying Kansas City passing attack.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Dealing with ailment
Wreh-Wilson (illness) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, William McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
Wreh-Wilson was forced to leave the contest in the second quarter, as he's failed to record a fantasy-relevant stat. As long as the veteran is sidelined, Isaiah Oliver and Tyler Hall could see a slight increase in snaps.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Secures crunch-time INT
Wreh-Wilson recorded an interception during Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Chargers.
The veteran cornerback went without a tackle over 11 defensive snaps, but he delivered a takeaway in the waning moments of Sunday's loss. Faced with a tie game and Los Angeles driving into Atlanta territory in the final minute of regulation, Wreh-Wilson stepped in front of a Justin Herbert pass to provide the Falcons with possession at their own 45-yard line. Matt Ryan would throw an interception of his own three plays later, rendering Wreh-Wilson's third INT of the 2020 campaign less impactful.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Secures game-clinching turnover
Wreh-Wilson collected four tackles, one tackle for loss and an interception during Thursday's 25-17 win against the Panthers.
Carolina was mounting a threatening two-minute drill Thursday night while down eight points in the fourth quarter. Teddy Bridgewater led the Panthers down to the Falcons' 30-yard line with 65 seconds to go, but on the ninth play of the drive, Wreh-Wilson stepped in front of a pass intended for DJ Moore to secure a game-icing takeaway. A head injury to Kendall Sheffield partway through the contest allowed for Wreh-WIlson to play his third-highest defensive snap count of the season (30), and he may have earned more opportunities moving forward with his clutch performance.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: To start against Bears
Wreh-Wilson is expected to start now that A.J. Terrell (Reserve/COVID-19 list) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Bears, Jason Butt of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The Falcons currently rank 31st in the NFL at 372 passing yards allowed per game with Terrell playing Weeks 1 and 2, but now Atlanta will be left with Wreh-Wilson, Darqueze Dennard, Isaiah Oliver and recent practice-squad callups Delrick Abrams and Tyler Hall as its available cornerbacks. Wreh-Wilson has played a combined three defensive snaps over the first two weeks, but he may be asked to take on a considerable defensive workload against Chicago's 29th-ranked pass offense.

Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Back in Atlanta for another year
Wreh-Wilson agreed to a one-year contract with the Falcons on Sunday, Jason Butt of The Athletic reports.
Wreh-Wilson returns to Atlanta after an unremarkable season in which he recorded 24 tackles and seven pass breakups in 14 games. He should continue to operate in a depth role for the team in 2020.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Produces no turnovers in 2019
Wreh-Wilson collected 24 tackles and broke up seven passes across 14 games (two starts) for the Falcons in 2019.
Wreh-Wilson has notched just one interception across 60 career regular-season games, but he at least performed adequately during the current campaign while shouldering an enhanced defensive role. He played 50-plus percent of the defensive snaps in every outing between Weeks 14 and 17, providing him with his first four-game stretch with a majority defensive snap share since 2014. The veteran defensive back and special-teams contributor is set to become a free agent, but there remains the possibility that Atlanta brings him back for a fifth season with the club.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Good to go
Wreh-Wilson (groin) is not listed on the Falcons' injury report ahead of Sunday's Week 7 game versus the Rams.
Wreh-Wilson was able to log a full practice Friday after being limited earlier in the week. Barring any setbacks, he should take on a bigger role than usual in the Falcons' secondary, as Desmond Trufant (toe) will be sidelined.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Back-to-back limited practices
Wreh-Wilson (groin) was a limited participant for Thursday's practice, Jason Butt of The Athletic reports.
The 29-year-old defensive back has been unable to get back on the field since sustaining a groin injury during the Week 4 loss against his former team, Tennessee. Wreh-Wilson was not able to practice at all leading into Sunday's loss to the Cardinals, so the fact that he has been capable of logging back-to-back limited sessions suggests there is a chance of him being active when the Falcons take on the Rams' sixth-ranked passing attack in Week 7.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: To miss another game
Wreh-Wilson has been ruled out for the Falcons' Week 6 matchup against the Cardinals, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
The veteran cornerback is in line to miss his second straight contest after playing on a combined 13 defensive snaps and 33 special teams plays between Weeks 1 and 4. Had he himself not been injured, Wreh-WIlson may have seen more involvement in the defensive rotation as result of Desmond Trufant (toe) being inactive for this game, but it will instead be rookies Kendall Sheffield and Jordan Miller who see an uptick in playing time against Arizona's 17th-ranked pass offense Sunday.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Sidelined Week 5
Wreh-Wilson (groin) was ruled out for Sunday's game at Houston, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
Wreh-WIlson suffered the groin injury last week versus the Titans and was unable to practice this week. The 29-year-old has played only 13 defensive snaps this season, so the Falcons' defense is unlikely to be significantly impacted.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Agrees to extension with Atlanta
Wreh-Wilson agreed to a one-year contract extension with the Falcons on Friday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.
Wreh-Wilson was set to become a free agent upon the dawn of the new league year March 13, but the Falcons elected to bring him back on a "prove it deal." Having spent three years in both Tennessee and Atlanta since being drafted as a third-round pick out of Connecticut in 2013, Wreh-Wilson has struggled to develop into a reliable cover man at the professional level, though he has proven to be a competent special teams contributor. The 29-year-old will compete for a role on kickoff and punt coverage, while providing depth for a secondary that's otherwise undergone considerable turnover in the early offseason.

Falcons' Blidi Wreh-Wilson: Quiet 2018 campaign concludes
Wreh-Wilson picked up four tackles and two pass deflections in three appearances for the Falcons this season.
Atlanta's drafting of Isaiah Oliver in the second round of April's draft compressed Wreh-Wilson's role within the Falcons defense, as he fielded just 30 defensive snaps this season compared to 65 last year. Accounting for a decrease in special teams involvement as well, Wreh-Wilson saw a 50.7 percent reduction in snap count between 2017 and 2018. With his contract expiring over the offseason, Wreh-Wilson's future with Atlanta remains up in the air.
