Chargers' Keenan Allen: Reliable pass catcher once again
Allen caught all five of his targets for 44 yards in the 34-17 win over the Chargers on Sunday.
Allen has yet to exceed 60 yards receiving since Week 7, but he's been a reliable safety net tallying at least four receptions in four of the past five games. The veteran figures to be a critical part of the offense next week given how potent Houston's pass rush can be, especially against a Los Angeles offensive line besieged by injuries.

Chargers' Keenan Allen: Team-high seven targets vs. KC
Allen caught five passes on seven targets for 36 yards during the Chargers' 16-13 win over the Chiefs on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.
The Chargers had just four wide receivers on the active roster for Sunday's AFC West tilt, with Quentin Johnston (groin) being the noticeable absentee. Allen paced the Chargers pass catchers with a team-high seven targets and finished with the third-most receiving yards behind rookies Oronde Gadsden (61) and Tre' Harris (49). Allen's catches and targets were his highest since Week 7 against the Colts (11 catches on 14 targets for 119 yards and a score). Next up for Allen and the Chargers is a Week 16 road tilt against the Cowboys on Sunday, Dec. 21.

Chargers' Keenan Allen: Limited by destructive defense
Allen caught all three of his targets for 22 yards in the 22-19 overtime win over the Eagles on Monday.
The veteran led all Charger wideouts in receiving yards Monday, as quarterback Justin Herbert was under constant duress and got sacked seven times. Los Angeles' offensive line issues make it difficult for any pass catcher to maintain consistent fantasy value week to week, and that will likely be a problem in Week 15 as well against a feisty Kansas City defense.

Chargers' Keenan Allen: Sporadic usage in win
Allen caught four of his five targets for 30 yards in the 31-14 win over the Raiders on Sunday.
Allen was his usual reliable self on third down, specifically in the first half, but the veteran was hardly needed as the Raiders offense continually stalled out. Justin Herbert fractured his left hand during the first half, an injury that will require surgery Monday. Head coach Jim Harbaugh and Herbert are hopeful the quarterback will be available in a critical Week 14 bout against the Eagles, but Allen's fantasy value arguably takes the biggest hit if the starting quarterback misses time. The 33-year-old has failed to see more than six targets in a game dating back to Week 8.

Chargers' Keenan Allen: Leads team in receiving in loss
Allen caught four of six targets for 53 yards in the Chargers' 35-6 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.
Allen paced Los Angeles in targets, catches and receiving yards on a day when Justin Herbert was under constant duress, completing just 10 of 18 passes for 81 scoreless yards and one interception prior to being removed from the game in the fourth quarter of the blowout defeat in favor of Trey Lance. Prior to Sunday, Allen hadn't topped 50 yards receiving in a game since Week 7, and he's gone without a touchdown in four consecutive contests. With the emergence of Oronde Gadsden and Quentin Johnston's return to health, Allen has taken more of a back seat in the passing game of late. The Chargers will now head into their Week 12 bye.

Chargers' Keenan Allen: Sets franchise reception record
Allen had two receptions on five targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 25-10 win over Pittsburgh.
It was another low-volume game from Allen following last week's two-catch performance, finishing with five or fewer targets for the third straight contest. The 19 receiving yards also marked a new single-game low in what has been a productive return to the club that drafted the veteran wideout back in 2013. The longtime Charger set a franchise record by surpassing Antonio Gates as the all-time leader in receptions with his 956th catch in 12 years with the club. Allen will attempt to ramp his production back up in a soft matchup against the Jaguars next Sunday.
