The Bills informed Bradford he was being cut Saturday, Mike Rodak of ESPN reports.
Bradford was competing for an opportunity to provide depth at middle linebacker, but ultimately lost the competition. If the 25-year-old does not land on the team's practice squad he will be left to look for another opportunity elsewhere.

Bills' Carl Bradford: Heading to Buffalo
Bradford signed with the Bills on Tuesday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
After being released by the 49ers a week ago, Bradford heads to the Nickel City as the team looks to shore up its linebacking corps. The 24-year-old has spent time with the Packers and 49ers during his young career, but has yet to find a stable home in the NFL. Look for him to compete for a reserve spot at weakside linebacker during training camp.

Carl Bradford: Released by 49ers
Bradford was released by the 49ers on Tuesday.
The move marks a change of plans for the 49ers, who tendered Bradford to a one-year contract in March. The Arizona State product played in four games with the Packers in 2016 before joining the 49ers for two more. He totaled five tackles and a stuff on the season.

Bradford, an exclusive rights free agent, was tendered to a one-year contract by the 49ers.
The 49ers claimed Bradford off waivers from the Packers last December. He appeared in two games before season's end and totaled four tackles in limited playing time. He likely won't compete for anything more than a depth role in advance of the 2017 campaign.

49ers' Carl Bradford: Claimed by San Francisco
Bradford signed a contract with San Francisco on Monday, CSN Bay Area reports.
Bradford was released by the Packers on Saturday. Since being drafted in the fourth round of the 2014 draft, he's appeared in just four games. He was signed shortly after the 49ers moved Nick Bellore (elbow) to IR, and Bradford is one of just three healthy inside linebackers on San Francisco's roster. He could see some immediate action in Week 16.

Bradford was signed to the Packers' active roster Saturday, ESPN reports.
Bradford, the Packers' fourth-round selection in 2014, hasn't seen any live action thus far into his professional career as he was a healthy scratch every game his rookie year and has since resided on Green Bay's practice squad. He'll likely provide depth at inside linebacker with starter Jake Ryan experiencing ankle woes.
