Garrett Grayson: Waived by Denver
Grayson was waived by the Broncos on Thursday, Zac Stevens of BSNDenver.com reports.
Grayson's last regular season action in the NFL was in 2015 with the Saints. The Colorado State product signed a future/reserve contract with the Broncos in January after spending most of the 2018 season on their practice squad. Wide receiver Chad Hansen was also waived by Denver on Thursday, likely to make room for undrafted free agents.

Broncos' Garrett Grayson: Signs reserve/future contract
Grayson signed a reserve/future contract with the Broncos on Monday, according to the NFL's official transaction report.
Grayson spent the majority of the season on the Broncos' practice squad and will remain with the team throughout the offseason, giving him a chance to compete for a spot on the 53-man roster next season. The Colorado State product will turn 28 this offseason.

Garrett Grayson: Added to Broncos' practice squad
Grayson agreed to join the Broncos' practice squad Thursday, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.
The 27-year-old was originally cut by the Falcons to begin 2018 after struggling throughout the preseason slate. The Broncos had space for a quarterback after the team cut Chad Kelly on Wednesday. Grayson has never seen regular-season NFL action in his career.

Garrett Grayson: Cut by Falcons
Grayson missed the cut for Atlanta's 53-man roster on Saturday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.
The fourth-year man out of Colorado State struggled mightily throughout the preseason slate, completing 36.8 percent of his passes and finishing with a dismal 3.5 yards per attempt average. Grayson's best chance to make an impression came against the Jets in Week 1, when he completed three-of-10 attempts for 38 yards (just nine attempts in other two other exhibition appearances). The 2015 third-round pick will try to catch on with the practice squad or pursue a backup role elsewhere.

Falcons' Garrett Grayson: Signs deal with Falcons
Grayson signed a reserve/future contract with the Falcons on Monday, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
Grayson has only suited up in one NFL game during his three-year career, but he has never played an offensive snap. He'll likely need a stellar training camp to prove he's worthy of being Matt Ryan's backup, since current backup Matt Schaub is an established veteran and has one year remaining on his contract.

Garrett Grayson: Rejoins Atlanta practice squad
The Falcons signed Grayson to their practice squad Tuesday.
Grayson was recently cut from the team's practice squad in order to make room for kicker Mike Meyer, who was brought in last week while Matt Bryant (calf) dealt with an injury. Bryant was ultimately able to play in the Falcons' Week 10 win over the Cowboys, so the team elected to dump Meyer from the practice squad to bring Grayson back into the fold.

Garrett Grayson: Cut from practice squad
The Falcons released Grayson from their practice squad Wednesday.
Grayson's dismissal clears a spot for kicker Mike Meyer, who could be added to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Cowboys if kicker Matt Bryant (leg) is unavailable for that contest. Since exhausting his college eligibility in 2014, Grayson has made one appearance in an NFL game, which came back in 2015 as a member of the Saints.

Garrett Grayson: Signed to Falcons' practice squad
Grayson landed on the Falcons' practice squad Tuesday, Adam Caplan of ESPN reports.
Grayson was waived by the Saints last week. It will take an injury to defending MVP Matt Ryan or backup quarterback Matt Schaub for Grayson to have a chance at being promoted to the active roster.

Garrett Grayson: Waived by Saints
Grayson was waived by the Saints on Saturday, Nick Underhill of the Advocate reports.
Grayson was competing with Ryan Nassib for a potential No. 3 QB gig in New Orleans, but the Saints have opted to carry only two signal callers into the regular season. It was another disappointing tenure in the Big Easy for the 2015 third-rounder, who could be sent to the practice squad if he clears waivers.

Saints' Garrett Grayson: Leads team in yardage versus Browns
Grayson completed 11 of 16 passes for 163 yards in Thursday's 20-14 preseason loss to the Browns.
Presumed backup Chase Daniel played sparingly after the opening stages, leaving Grayson and Ryan Nassib to split the remaining snaps. Grayson led the team in yardage, but he took four sacks, and unlike Nassib, was unable to connect on a touchdown pass. It remains to be seen whether the Saints plan to keep three quarterbacks this season, but the battle between Grayson and Nassib should have significant bearing on that decision.

Saints' Garrett Grayson: Signs reserve/future contract with Saints
Grayson signed a reserve/future contract with the Saints earlier this month, reports the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
Grayson was the Saints' third-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, but he spent the past season on the team's practice squad after failing to crack the final 53-man roster out of training camp. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound quarterback out of Colorado State has not developed as quickly as the Saints have hoped, and he will presumably be given one last chance to earn a roster spot as Drew Brees' backup next season.

Garrett Grayson: Will be released Wednesday
The Saints will release Grayson on Wednesday, ESPN's Adam Caplan reports.
Grayson has not progressed as the Saints hoped when they selected him in the third round last year, and the team is clearly comfortable with both Drew Brees and Luke McCown, so they will head into the regular season with just two quarterbacks on the roster. Given where he was drafted, it should not take long for Grayson to hook on with another team, and there is the chance he rejoins the Saints as part of the practice squad.
