Texans' Robert Woods: Two catches in win
Woods caught both of his targets for 13 yards in Monday's 34-10 win over the Cowboys. He also returned one kickoff for 21 yards.
Woods continued to fill a depth role which affords him a couple of targets per game, although his snap count took a slight hit due to the return of Nico Collins. Since injuries to Houston wideouts started popping up in Week 6, Woods has seen an uptick in activity, although not a enough of a bump to spark fantasy interest. After missing two games himself as part of the injury wave, Woods has seven receptions on 10 targets for 76 yards while averaging 38 percent of the offensive snaps over the last four games.

Texans' Robert Woods: Takes back seat to young WRs
Woods caught one of three targets for one yard in Sunday's 26-23 loss to Detroit in Week 10.
Woods, who logged 24 snaps, once again served as the fourth wideout, as younger receivers Xavier Hutchinson (57 snaps), Tank Dell (51) and John Metchie (44) have become the primary targets with Nico Collins (IR, hamstring) and Stefon Diggs (IR, knee) unavailable. Collins, who was designated to return but was inactive Sunday, could suit up in Week 11 against Dallas, which would further erode Woods' on-field presence. Woods has eight catches on 13 targets for 91 yards and no touchdowns over eight games played this season.

Texans' Robert Woods: Two catches as fill-in
Woods caught two of three targets for 44 yards in Thursday's 21-13 loss to the Jets in Week 9.
Woods got the start with both Nico Collins (hamstring) and Stefon Diggs (knee) unavailable. He played 39 snaps and contributed a 32-yard reception to Houston's lone touchdown drive in the second quarter. If Collins returns as expected for Week 10, then Woods would likely return to a depth role. He has seven catches (on 10 targets) for 90 yards in seven games played.

Texans' Robert Woods: Larger role than expected
Woods caught both of his targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Colts. He also returned two punts for 23 yards.
Woods, who returned to action following a two-game absence due to a foot injury, played a larger role on offense than anticipated. That was due to the potentially serious knee injury suffered by Stefon Diggs, who is headed for an MRI and is unlikely to play Thursday against the Jets. Some combination of Woods, Xavier Hutchinson and John Metchie will fill the wideout void created by Diggs' injury.

Texans' Robert Woods: Set to return Week 8
Woods (foot) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Woods will return after a two-game absence, though he isn't expected to play a significant role on offense despite the absence of Nico Collins (hamstring). Woods steadily increased his practice participation throughout the week, going from a DNP on Wednesday to limited participation Thursday before practicing in full Friday.

Texans' Robert Woods: Returns to practice Thursday
Woods (foot) was listed as a limited participant on the Texans' injury report Thursday.
Woods was able to play through a foot injury during the Texans' Week 5 win over the Bills, but the veteran wideout has been sidelined for Houston's last two games. His ability to practice Thursday indicates that Woods is making progress through the issue, and if he's able to practice in at least a limited capacity Friday, he'll give himself a shot at suiting up for Sunday's AFC South clash against the Colts. Woods' return would give the Texans some additional depth at wide receiver while Nico Collins (hamstring) resides on injured reserve.

Texans' Robert Woods: Remains sidelined Wednesday
Woods (foot) didn't practice Wednesday.
Woods missed Houston's last two games due to plantar fasciitis, and while he's reportedly making progress in his recovery, the receiver still isn't ready to resume practicing. If Woods doesn't play Sunday against the Colts, Xavier Hutchinson would continue to have a role in three-receiver sets, though Hutchinson was working ahead of Woods even before the veteran wideout got hurt.

Texans' Robert Woods: Making progress
Woods is still questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, but he is making progress in his recovery from plantar fasciitis and is expected back soon, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Woods hasn't played since Week 5 against the Bills and had previously been using a walking boot while working to recover from the foot injury. A return this week for the 32-year-old would be a boost to the Texans' receiving corps with Nico Collins (hamstring) on IR, but more clarity on his potential to do so won't likely come until closer to Sunday.

Texans' Robert Woods: Remains sidelined for Week 7
Woods (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers.
Woods will miss a second consecutive game due to a foot injury. Steven Sims filled in as Houston's kickoff and punt returner in Woods' absence in the 41-21 Week 6 win over the Patriots, so Sims likely will maintain those roles against the Packers, while Woods wasn't much of a factor on offense even before his injury.
