Tre McBride: Let go by Jags
McBride was waived by the Jaguars on Saturday, Phillip Heilman of The Athletic reports.
McBride was looking to earn a depth receiving role, but ultimately failed to make enough of an impression at camp. He is not eligible to be picked up on the team's practice squad, so he will be forced to look for a new opportunity.

Jaguars' Tre McBride: Paces Jaguars receivers in yardage
McBride caught three of seven targets, totaling 37 receiving yards during Thursday's 31-12 preseason loss to the Falcons.
On a night when Jaguars receivers couldn't catch a cold, McBride led the group as he had for much of the preseason. The 26-year-old pass catcher retains an outside shot at a roster spot given his past experience contributing on special teams, as well as the fact that he's been first or second on the team in receiving yardage for each of its four exhibition games this year, with 42 more total receiving yards than any other Jaguars wideout.

Jaguars' Tre McBride: Totals 47 receiving yards
McBride caught four of five targets for 47 yards in Thursday's preseason contest against the Eagles.
McBride was the lone pass catcher with multiple receptions (three) or double-digit receiving yards (43) in the preseason opener. The 26-year-old hasn't seen regular-season action since 2017 with the Bears, a season in which he played eight games.

Jaguars' Tre McBride: Heading to Jacksonville
McBride signed a contract with the Jaguars on Thursday.
McBride was let go by the Redskins on April 30 after the team drafted a pair of receivers. McBride's last regular-season game action came back in 2017 (with the Bears) and he'll have his work cut out for him in order to secure a roster spot with Jacksonville.

Tre McBride: Lands on waivers
The Redskins waived McBride on Tuesday.
McBride tried out for the Jets before the 2018 season but was cut before Week 1. He was picked up by the Redskins in January. The team has since brought in receivers Terry McLaurin and Kelvin Harmon via the draft, so McBride's services are no longer needed in Washington.

Tre McBride: Signs with Washington
McBride signed a reserve-future contract with the Redskins on Wednesday, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.
McBride had a strong preseason with the Jets but fell victim to the numbers game. He'll have the chance to earn his stay with Washington should he produce during training camp and beyond.

Tre McBride: Let go by New York
McBride was waived by the Jets on Saturday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
McBridge signed a reserve/future contract with the Jets in January and was featured in a few of their preseason games, but he was ultimately unable to distinguish himself in a relatively young group of New York wideouts fighting for a roster spot.

Jets' Tre McBride: Converts two third downs
McBride caught both of his targets for 24 yards Thursday in a 15-13 loss to the Redskins during Week 2 of the preseason.
McBride was tremendous on New York's second possession, picking up back-to-back third down conversions with catches of 13 and 11 yards. He didn't make much of an impression in the preseason opener despite seeing the field for a team-high 32 of 66 offensive snaps, but the 25-year-old wide receiver seems to be developing a nice rapport with rookie quarterback Sam Darnold in practice. If he can keep carrying that connection over in game situations like he did here, McBride could sneak onto the 53-man roster.

Jets' Tre McBride: Just two catches Friday
McBride caught both of his targets for 16 yards during Friday's 17-0 win over Atlanta in the preseason opener.
McBride is hoping to work his way up from the practice squad this season, but nothing about his performance here suggests he's poised to do so.

Jets' Tre McBride: Participating in training camp
McBride (undisclosed) is fully participating in training camp, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
McBride finished the 2017 season on the Jets' practice squad/injured list, but he seems to be back to full strength during training camp. The fourth-year receiver is looking to make it as a depth option in New York.
