Jernigan spent three games with the Jaguars this season and another two with the Broncos, where he added depth while Dre'Mont Jones (knee) was on IR. It appears Jones could return for this Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs, so Jernigan was cut loose. The 28-year-old will seek a depth role elsewhere.

Jernigan signed with the Broncos on Wednesday, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.
Jernigan was cut by the Jaguars earlier this week, but he quickly found a new team. The Broncos need the depth after news that Jurrell Casey (torn biceps) will miss the rest of the season, so Jernigan will slot in behind DeShawn Williams and Shelby Harris at defensive end. It's possible he suits up Thursday against the Jets.

Jaguars' Tim Jernigan: Inks deal with Jags
Jernigan signed with the Jaguars on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Jernigan reached a preliminary agreement to sign with Houston in early April, but the deal fell through after a physical exam. He's now signing on with an AFC South rival, one that has a clear need for an interior pass rusher in nickel and dime formations. Jernigan has 17.5 sacks and 47 QB hits in 71 career games, though 13 of those sacks came back in 2014-16 with the Ravens. Injuries limited him to 28 appearances the past three years in Philadelphia.

Tim Jernigan: No longer with Houston
Jernigan will return to the open market after he announced Tuesday that his one-year, $3.75 million deal with the Texans fell through, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Jernigan never officially passed a physical, which is why the deal was never processed. However, he has been cleared to play by Dr. Robert Watkins. The 27-year-old is expected to draw interest from several other NFL teams.
