The Giants placed Dixon on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.

Dixon has either tested positive for the virus or come into close contact with an infected person. The Giants promoted Ryan Santoso from the practice squad earlier this week to cover for Dixon and kicker Graham Gano, who was placed on the COVID-19 list Tuesday. With the Giants on a Week 11 bye, there is enough time for both Dixon and Gano to clear the league's protocols and play in Week 12 against the Bengals.
