Bills' Jordan Phillips: Placed on IR
The Bills placed Phillips (ankle) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Phillips suffered an ankle injury Week 15 versus the Patriots and subsequently missed two games, but he managed to retake the field Week 18 against the Jets and play a season-high 39 percent of defensive snaps. Nonetheless, the veteran defensive tackle will now miss Buffalo's postseason run due to his placement on IR. With Phillips out, rookie second-rounder T.J. Sanders looks set for a larger role on defense, especially if DaQuan Jones (calf) isn't able to return in time for Sunday's wild-card round matchup against the Jaguars.

Bills' Jordan Phillips: Questionable for Week 18
Phillip (ankle) practiced in full Friday and is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Jets.
Phillips has missed back-to-back games due to a lingering right ankle injury, but he resumed practicing in full Friday after having been listed as limited both Wednesday and Thursday. Barring any setbacks, he seems on track to retake the field Sunday versus New England.

Bills' Jordan Phillips: Will remain out Week 17
Phillips (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's tilt against the Eagles, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
Phillips injured his ankle Week 15 against New England and missed last Sunday's win over the Browns. He's now slated to sit out a second straight contest as the Bills remain in the hunt for the top slot in the AFC East. T.J. Sanders could see more defensive snaps in Phillips' absence, especially if DaQuan Jones (calf) can't play.

Bills' Jordan Phillips: DNP to open Week 17 prep
Phillisp (ankle) did not participate in Wednesday's walkthrough practice.
Phillips sustained an ankle injury during the Bills' Week 15 win over the Patriots, which caused him to miss this past Sunday's victory over the Browns. His DNP to open the week isn't a good sign, but he would give himself a chance to play this Sunday against the Eagles if he were to log at least a limited practice Friday.

Bills' Jordan Phillips: Already ruled out for Week 16
Head coach Sean McDermott said that Phillips won't play Sunday against the Browns due to an ankle injury he suffered in the team's Week 15 win over the Patriots, Alec White of the Bills' official site reports.
Phillips was hurt in the first half of Sunday's win, during which he took nine defensive snaps but didn't record any counting statistics. While the veteran defensive tackle is more of a rotational player at this stage of his career, it's yet another hit for a defensive line that is already without Ed Oliver (biceps), Michael Hoecht (Achilles), DeWayne Carter (Achilles) and Landon Jackson (knee).

Bills' Jordan Phillips: Inks deal with Bills
Phillips and the Bills agreed on a contract Monday, Sal Capaccio of WGR Sports Radio 550 Buffalo reports.
Phillips will join the Bills after spending the entirety of the offseason as a free agent. He will work out with the team in the interim period during which they can maintain a 90-man roster, but he is expected to be released and re-signed to Buffalo's practice squad Wednesday. The defensive lineman appeared in seven contests with the Bills in 2024, recording five total tackles (four solo) and an interception.
