Giants' Roy Robertson-Harris: Spending training camp on PUP list
Robertson-Harris (Achilles) was placed on the active/PUP list Thursday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Robertson-Harris tore his Achilles during a practice in May and will likely miss all of training camp. Coach John Harbaugh said he believes the defensive end could play at some point during the 2026 season. With such a fresh and severe injury, it seems the rest of the defensive line will take over Robertson-Harris' workload for the foreseeable future.

Giants' Roy Robertson-Harris: Could return this season
Robertson-Harris was not placed on the Giants' injured reserve list after tearing his Achilles at practice in May, Evan Barnes of Newsday reports.
Coach John Harbaugh said he believes Robertson-Harris could play at some point during the 2026 campaign, so at least for now, he's avoiding IR. Until he's available again, veteran Shelby Harris could be called upon for additional work on the defensive line with the first team.

Giants' Roy Robertson-Harris: Suffers Achilles tear
Robertson-Harris suffered an Achilles tear during Thursday's practice, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
With Robertson-Harris presumably out for most or all of the 2026 season, New York will need more snaps out of veteran signings DJ Reader and Shelby Harris or youngsters Darius Alexander and Bobby Jamison-Travis. The team traded star DT Dexter Lawrence to Cincinnati earlier this offseason, leaving new defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson without a clear standout on the interior line. The Giants are counting on edge rushers Brian Burns, Abdul Carter and Kayvon Thibodeaux to provide the vast majority of sacks and pressures this season. Robertson-Harris has just 19.0 sacks in 134 regular-season games, but he's made 79 starts, including 17 last year in New York.

Giants' Roy Robertson-Harris: Steady role in first season in NY
Robertson-Harris posted 35 tackles and one defensed pass over 17 games (all starts) in 2025.
After working mostly in a rotational role in 2024 during stints with Jacksonville and Seattle, Robertson-Harris returned to a full-time starting role in his first campaign with the Giants. He didn't put up gaudy stats but did provide a steady veteran presence along the team's defensive line. Robertson-Harris will be in the final season of his two-year contract in 2026 and should continue to provide depth and leadership for New York's defense.

Robertson-Harris (knee) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys.
Despite practicing in a limited fashion throughout the week, Robertson-Harris is ready to play in the Week 18 divisional matchup. The UTEP product has operated as one of the Giants' top defensive linemen this season, recording 32 total tackles and one pass defensed across 16 contests. He's expected to start opposite Darius Alexander on New York's defensive line Sunday.

Robertson-Harris (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Matt Citak of the Giants' official site reports.
Robertson-Harris likely tweaked his knee during the Giants' Week 17 win over the Raiders, when he finished with three solo tackles. He'll have two more opportunities to log a full practice ahead of Sunday's NFC East tilt against the Cowboys.

Although Robertson-Harris was limited in practice throughout the week due to a knee injury, he's moved past the issue in time to suit up Sunday. The UTEP product has played 210 defensive snaps through six contests this season, recording six total tackles. Giants' Roy Robertson-Harris: Inking new deal
Robertson-Harris is slated to sign a two-year, $10 million contract with the Giants, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Robertson was cut by the Seahawks on Tuesday but was able to find a new home quickly. The UTEP product appeared in a total of 17 regular-season games last year between the Jaguars and Seahawks, recording 20 combined tackles and 2.0 sacks.
