Bills' Reid Ferguson: Misses preseason finale
Ferguson did not suit up for Saturday's preseason game against the Packers due to a back injury, according to the NFL Network game broadcast.
Buffalo's long snapper will have two weeks and a day to recover for the season opener against the Steelers. Bills' Reid Ferguson: Long snapper re-ups with Buffalo
Ferguson signed a three-year contract extension through 2024 on Friday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
Ferguson has snapped for four seasons with Buffalo already and has handled the position well, plus the team likes his leadership in a locker room that values chemistry. He's never missed a game as a pro. Kicker Tyler Bass showed promise as a rookie in 2020, so we imagine having the reliable Ferguson for the next several years is a plus for the former.
