Zach Banner: Attempting comeback to NFL
Banner remains committed to returning to the NFL field, Alan Saunders of Steelers Now reports.
Banner suffered a torn ACL in Week 1 of the 2020 season as a member of the Steelers and has yet to make it back to the field. The 6-foot-8, 335-pound tackle was set to be a starter for Pittsburgh prior to the injury and could garner a roster spot somewhere in 2023 if his knee is healthy.

Zach Banner: Let go by Pittsburgh
The Steelers released Banner on Wednesday, Mark Kaboly of The Athletic reports.
Pittsburgh's attempt to revamp the offensive line last season was an abject failure, and the team will now cut its losses. With the Steelers having re-signed Chukwuma Okorafor, it's unsurprising to see Banner's four-year stint in the organization come to an end.
