Van Roten was sidelined to begin the week with a shoulder issue. However, limited sessions on both Thursday and Friday will be enough for him to suit up in Week 15.

Van Roten (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
The offensive guard sat out Wednesday's session, though the issue was new. Now that he's back at practice, he's trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Commanders. If Van Roten can play, he should start at right guard.

Van Roten (shoulder ) didn't participate in the Giants' practice Wednesday, Matt Citak of the team's official site reports.
Van Roten popped up on the injury report Wednesday and is now in danger of missing his first game of the season. If the 35-year-old ends up being unable to play in Sunday's matchup versus the Commanders, Aaron Stinnie would likely start at right guard in his place.

Giants' Greg Van Roten: Re-signs with Giants
The Giants re-signed Van Roten to a one-year deal Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Van Roten will return to New York for the 2025 campaign after having appeared in 17 games for the team a season ago. The 35-year-old should once again have the opportunity to compete for one of the team's starting offensive guard spots.
