  • Kavon Frazier: Announces retirement

Frazier announced his retirement Friday via his personal Twitter account.

Frazier spent six seasons in the NFL and will be best remembered as a core special-teamer and backup safety with the Cowboys from 2016-19, and also for his contributions with Miami in 2020. The 27-year-old also logged stints with the Bengals and Raiders.

  • Bengals' Kavon Frazier: Finds new home

Frazier inked a contract with the Bengals on Thursday.

Frazier spent this past season with Miami, where he produced six tackles while playing primarily in a special-teams role. The Central Michigan product will likely handle a similar role with Cincinnati if he makes the team out of training camp.

  • Dolphins' Kavon Frazier: Practices without limitations

Frazier (shoulder) was a full participant in Friday's practice, Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports.

Frazier was held out of Sunday's loss to the Seahawks after stringing together a trio of limited practices, but it looks like he's now put his shoulder injury behind him. He looks on track to return as a special-teams contributor versus San Francisco in Week 5.

  • Dolphins' Kavon Frazier: No-go Sunday

Frazier (shoulder) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

Frazier came into the game drawing a doubtful tag after he practiced all week on a limited basis. With Frazier sidelined, look for Brandon Jones to be the primary back up at free safety while handling an uptick in special teams snaps.

  • Dolphins' Kavon Frazier: Doubtful for Sunday

Frazier (shoulder) is considered doubtful to Sunday's game versus the Seahawks, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

Despite practicing all week in a limited fashion, Frazier is expected to miss his first game of the season. The 26-year-old safety has mainly played on special teams this season, so his likely absence won't affect the defense.

  • Dolphins' Kavon Frazier: Heads to South Beach

Frazier (pectoral) signed a contract with the Dolphins on Sunday, Omar Kelly and Safid Deen of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

Frazier appeared in four games for Dallas in 2019 before landing on injured reserve with a torn pectoral, and he'll now compete for a spot in Miami's secondary. The 25-year-old appeared in 44 games for the Cowboys after being a sixth-round selection in the 2016 draft and totaled 67 tackles (45 solo) with one sack, one forced fumble and one pass defensed while mainly playing on special teams.

  • Cowboys' Kavon Frazier: Heading to IR

The Cowboys are placing Frazier (pectoral) on injured reserve Monday, David Helman of the Cowboys' official site reports.

Frazier will undergo season-ending surgery on his injured pectoral Tuesday. He appeared in all four games for Dallas this season, doing most of his damage on special teams while recording five tackles (three solo).

  • Cowboys' Kavon Frazier: Done for day

Frazier is out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Saints due to a pectoral injury, Todd Archer of ESPN NFL Nation reports.

It's not clear when Frazier picked up the injury, but him being ruled out so promptly suggests his absence could extend beyond this game.
