Conklin (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Conklin was limited all last week before missing the Week 1 opener versus Dallas. He was limited again ahead of Sunday's contest versus Jacksonville and is questionable for the second straight week. If Conklin can't go and with Jedrick Wills (knee) already out, the Browns could again trot out James Hudson and Dawand Jones at the tackle spots.

Conklin (knee) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Conklin has practiced in a limited fashion as of late, but he wasn't able to suit up Week 1 for the Browns. The starting right tackle is nearing the end of his recovery from an ACL tear suffered in Cleveland's regular-season opener last year. In the event that Conklin isn't able to return versus the Jaguars on Sunday, Dawand Jones should draw another start.

Browns' Jack Conklin: Inactive for Week 1
Conklin (knee) will not play Sunday against the Cowboys, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Conklin was a limited participant in all three practices this week, but he will have to wait to make his regular-season debut until Week 2 against the Jaguars. The 2016 first-round pick is in the final stages of his recovery from a torn ACL from Week 1 last season. Dawand Jones, the 2023 fourth-round draft pick, will start at right tackle Sunday in place of Conklin, per Easterling.

Browns' Jack Conklin: Questionable for Sunday
Conklin (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Conklin has spent the past year recovering from a torn ACL, but after a week of limited practice sessions, he has a chance to suit up Sunday. Head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters Friday that both Conklin and James Hudson are options to start in place of the injured Jedrick Wills (knee) in Week 1, per Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram. If Conklin is able to play Sunday, he could start at either right or left tackle.

Browns' Jack Conklin: Taken off PUP list
Conklin (knee) passed his physical and was activated off the PUP list Monday, per the Browns' official site.
Conklin missed all of training camp, including the exhibition slate, while continuing to recover from the ACL surgery he underwent last September. However, now that he's back to being able to suit up, the veteran offensive lineman will likely start at right tackle for Cleveland when the regular season kicks off.

Browns' Jack Conklin: Opening camp on PUP list
Conklin (knee) was placed on the active/PUP list by the Browns on Wednesday.
Conklin missed nearly the entirety of the 2023 campaign after suffering a torn ACL and MCL in Week 1 versus the Bengals and will now open training camp on the sidelines. The right tackle is eligible to return to practice and play at any point in the preseason.
