  • Ade Aruna: Let go by Las Vegas

Aruna was cut by the Raiders on Wednesday, Sam Gordon of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

The Tulane product latched on with the Raiders in early August, but, as evidenced by this news, he'll have to find a home elsewhere. Since coming into the league as a Vikings sixth-round pick in 2018, Aruna has never seen regular-season action.

  • Raiders' Ade Aruna: Brought back by Las Vegas

    The Raiders have re-signed Aruna.

The 6-foot-5, 263-pounder, who was a sixth-round pick by the Vikings in 2018, will thus look to secure a depth defensive end role with the Raiders. Aruna has been on the team's radar since joining its practice squad in advance of Week 17 last season.

  • Ade Aruna: Waived by Las Vegas

The Raiders waived Aruna (undisclosed) with a non-football injury designation.

Aruna was let go to make room for Jordan Roos on the roster. He still has yet to make his NFL debut since joining the league in 2018 as a sixth-round pick of the Vikings.

  • Ade Aruna: Works out with Browns

Aruna (knee) had a try out with the Browns on Monday, freelance NFL writer Howard Balzer reports.

Aruna was placed on the Vikings' injured reserve prior to Week 1 due to a knee injury. He ended up reaching an injury settlement with the club on Sept. 19. His workout with the Browns indicates his health is back up to par, so he could potentially find a new job sooner than later.

The Vikings waived Aruna (knee) from IR with an injury settlement Thursday, freelance NFL writer Howard Balzer reports.

Aruna will be free to sign elsewhere in the league when back to full health. The 2018 sixth-round pick is working to recover from a knee injury sustained before his rookie season.

  • Ade Aruna: Bounces to IR

Aruna (knee) cleared waivers and was placed on injured reserve, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

After picking Aruna in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, The Vikings placed the defensive end on injured reserve before his rookie season due to a knee injury. Flash forward to 2019, and Aruna's in the same situation. He'll remain on injured reserve unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.

  • Vikings' Ade Aruna: Progressing in recovery

Aruna (knee) expects to be ready for offseason workouts, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Aruna is also reportedly walking without issue following offseason surgery. The sixth-round pick will spend his entire rookie season on injured reserve, but it appears the knee injury will not impact his long-term NFL career.

  • Vikings' Ade Aruna: Drops to IR

The Vikings placed Aruna (knee) on injured reserve Monday, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

The rookie sixth-round pick was carted off the field during Saturday's preseason loss to the Jaguars. The quick move to IR signals a significant injury, which will hurt the Vikings' depth headed into the final two preseason games. Still, Aruna wasn't expected to make any fantasy noise behind Danielle Hunter and Everson Griffen (leg).

  • Vikings' Ade Aruna: Dealing with knee injury

Aruna is dealing with a knee injury after being carted off the field during Saturday's preseason loss to the Jaguars, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.

The severity of Aruna's injury remains unclear, but he could be looking at a potentially serious knee issue. He was unlikely to make much of an impact at defensive end behind Danielle Hunter and Everson Griffen (leg), but the Vikings could miss his depth in Week 3 of the preseason and beyond.

  • Vikings' Ade Aruna: Carted off Saturday

Aruna had to be carted off the field during Saturday's exhibition game against the Jaguars after suffering an apparent leg injury, Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Aruna's right leg buckled under him while he was being blocked. He had to be helped by trainers to the cart, as he was unable to put weight on his leg. Expect an update on the sixth-round pick's status once the team provides more clarity on the issue.
