James Crawford: Time up in Miami
The Dolphins cut Crawford on Sunday, Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports.
Crawford only played three games for the Dolphins in 2019 before landing on IR due to a knee injury. He previously played a full 16-game slate with the Packers in 2018, during which time he primarily contributed on special teams.

Dolphins' James Crawford: Lands on IR
Crawford (knee) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.
Crawford was originally claimed off waivers by the Dolphins on Sep. 3 and played in their first three games, seeing just 17 snaps on defense. It's unclear when exactly he sustained the knee injury, but it's obviously serious enough to land him on injured reserve.

Dolphins' James Crawford: Claimed by Dolphins
The Dolphins claimed Crawford off waivers Wednesday per the NFL's official transaction log.
Crawford was unable to make the Packers' 53-man roster, but the Dolphins are willing to take a chance on him. He projects to provide depth at linebacker and could see action right away if Charles Harris (wrist) is unable to go Sunday against the Ravens.
