Titans' Sebastian Joseph-Day: Remains solid run stuffer
Joseph-Day recorded 41 tackles (22 solo) with 2.0 sacks and a recovered fumble across 17 games in 2025.
Joseph-Day has never provided much as a pass rusher, but he's served as a solid run stuffer. That continued in 2025, as he was credited with 28 run stuffs by PFF and was charged with only a 9.1 percent missed tackle rate -- his best mark since 2020. Joseph-Day will become a free agent this offseason, and he should land a new deal, whether in Tennessee or elsewhere.

Titans' Sebastian Joseph-Day: Set to play Week 17
Joseph-Day (calf) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Joseph-Day has played in all 15 games for the Titans so far this season and will continue that streak in Sunday's contest. The defensive end saw his lowest snap share of the season against the Chiefs in Week 16, likely due to the calf injury that led to his appearance on Wednesday's injury report. Now that he's been cleared of any injury designation and is set to suit up, the 30-year-old will likely return to a higher amount of defensive snaps in Sunday's game.

Titans' Sebastian Joseph-Day: Dealing with calf injury
Joseph-Day (calf) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Joseph-Day logged a season-low 12 defensive snaps and one special-teams snap this past Sunday against the Chiefs, and the calf issue may be the reason. It's unclear how serious the injury is, but the fact he was able to log a limited practice session Wednesday suggests he has a chance of playing Sunday against New Orleans. Still, Joseph-Day may end up with an injury designation if he's not able to register a full practice session by the end of the week.

Titans' Sebastian Joseph-Day: Cleared for Week 13
Joseph-Day (elbow) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
After a pair of limited practices Wednesday and Thursday, Joseph-Day was a full participant Friday. The veteran defensive lineman has appeared in all 11 games this season, producing 33 tackles (19 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and one fumble recovery on 50 percent of the defensive snaps.

Titans' Sebastian Joseph-Day: Dealing with elbow injury
Joseph-Day (elbow) was a limited participant in Tennessee's practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Joseph-Day appeared on the injury report Wednesday, though it's unclear when he hurt his elbow. The 30-year-old has yet to miss a game this season but could be in danger of sitting out Sunday's matchup versus the Jaguars if he's unable to practice fully either Thursday or Friday.

Titans' Sebastian Joseph-Day: Re-signs with Tennessee
Joseph-Day agreed to a one-year, $7.5 million deal with the Titans on Monday, Nick Suss of The Tennessean reports.
Joseph-Day will return to Tennessee for another year after appearing in all 17 games last season (12 starts). The eight-year veteran recorded 44 total tackles, including 2.5 sacks, in 2024 as a rotational defensive lineman and will likely reprise that role in 2025.

Titans' Sebastian Joseph-Day: Logs 2.5 sacks in 2024
Joseph-Day played in all 17 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 44 tackles (18 solo), including 2.5 sacks, and one pass defense.
Joseph-Day signed a one-year, $4 million contract with the Titans in March of 2024 after closing out the 2023 season with the 49ers. He started in 12 games in 2024 and extended his streak of registering at least 2.0 sacks to four seasons. Joseph-Day enters the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, and he should garner interest from teams looking to add a veteran presence to its defensive line.

Titans' Sebastian Joseph-Day: Practices in full Thursday
Joseph-Day (biceps) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Joseph-Day was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a biceps injury he may have suffered during Tennessee's Week 11 loss to Minnesota this past Sunday. He was able to participate in all team drills during Thursday's session, indicating that he will be good to go against the Texans on Sunday. In the six regular-season games since the Titans' Week 5 bye, Joseph-Day has logged 13 tackles (five solo), including 0.5 sacks.

Titans' Sebastian Joseph-Day: Dealing with biceps injury
Joseph-Day (biceps) was a DNP for the Titans' first official practice of the week Wednesday.
Joseph-Day logged one solo tackles across 35 snaps (31 on defense, four on special teams) during the Titans' 23-13 loss to the Vikings this past Sunday, but he may have injured his biceps in the process. The 2018 sixth-round pick will have two more chances this week to return to practice in at least a limited capacity, which would give him a chance to play against the Texans on Sunday. Through 10 regular-season games, Joseph-Day has logged 25 tackles (11 solo), including 2.5 sacks, and one pass defended.
