Tre Flowers: Gets opportunity with Detroit
The Lions signed Flowers to the practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Flowers was unable to make the Bears' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but the 2018 fifth-rounder will get another opportunity as a member of the Lions' practice squad. He could be elevated to the active roster for the Lions' Week 5 clash against the Bengals if either or both of Terrion Arnold (shoulder) and D.J. Reed (hamstring) is ruled out.

Bears' Tre Flowers: Signs with Chicago
The Bears signed Flowers (shoulder) on Tuesday.
Flowers will look to provide Chicago extra depth at corner back with Jaylon Johnson's (leg) status for the regular season currently up in the air. Flowers spent time with both the Colts and Jaguars last season, logging four tackles (three solo) across five games before suffering a shoulder injury in December that landed him on Indianapolis' practice-squad injured list.

Tre Flowers: Placed on practice squad Injured list
The Colts placed Flowers (shoulder) on the practice-squad injured list Monday.
Flowers hurt his shoulder in Sunday's matchup against the Titans and was unable to return. The veteran cornerback reverted to the Colts' practice squad before getting moved to the injured list. Because he's required to miss at least four games and Indy is clinging to faint playoff hopes, Flowers likely won't play again this season.

Colts' Tre Flowers: Ruled out vs. Titans
Flowers went down with a shoulder injury and will not return to Sunday's outing against the Titans, George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports.
Flowers hurt his shoulder in the first half of Sunday's matchup, and it appears to be serious enough that he won't return to the field. The veteran cornerback logged one tackle before leaving the game.

Tre Flowers: Cut by Jacksonville
The Jaguars released Flowers on Tuesday.
Flowers has suited up for four games with Jacksonville during the regular season, but he's handled just 14 defensive snaps and 18 snaps on special teams in that span. The veteran cornerback will look to resurface in a depth role elsewhere in the league.

Jaguars' Tre Flowers: Signed to active roster
The Jaguars signed Flowers off the practice squad to the active roster Thursday.
Flowers' addition to the active roster bolsters the Jaguars' secondary after corner Tyson Campbell (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve. Flowers appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Falcons in 2023, finishing with 15 tackles (six solo) and two passes defended.

Jaguars' Tre Flowers: Joins Jaguars
Jacksonville signed Flowers on Thursday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Flowers suited up for all 17 games with the Falcons in 2023. Now he's signing with his fourth team in as many years. The Jaguars are thin at cornerback behind Tyson Campbell and Ronald Darby, so Flowers could push for a significant role in 2024.

Falcons' Tre Flowers: Steps up sans Okudah
Flowers took first-team reps during Friday's practice after Jeff Okudah was carted off with an ankle injury, Michael Rothstein of EPSN.com reports.
Rothstein notes that Mike Hughes and Flowers split first-team reps during Saturday's practice, but it appears the latter is the frontrunner to win a starting spot opposite of A.J. Terrell to begin the season. Atlanta got positive news when they found out Okudah will be able to return early in the 2023 season, but the cornerback is still expected to miss at least a few games. Flowers hasn't been a regular starter since his first two years in the NFL with Seattle (2018 and 2019). During that stretch, Flowers totaled 149 tackles, 14 pass defenses, three interceptions and two sacks across 30 appearances.

Falcons' Tre Flowers: Signs with Atlanta
Flowers and the Falcons agreed on a one-year contract Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Flowers will head to Atlanta after spending part of the 2021 season and the entirety of 2022 with the Bengals, recording 27 tackles with three pass deflections and an interception over 15 games with Cincinnati last year. The cornerback likely will operate as an option on the defensive side of the ball and on special teams with Atlanta in 2023.

Bengals' Tre Flowers: Back in full Thursday
Flowers (hamstring) was a full participant during the Bengals' practice Thursday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Flowers has battled a lingering hamstring injury sustained Week 8, which kept him inactive for last Sunday's divisional-round win over Buffalo. The 27-year-old was then limited during practice Wednesday, though he seems to be ready to suit up again heading into this Sunday's matchup against Kansas City in the AFC Championship Game. Flowers has seen the majority of his playing time on special teams this season, though he should provide valuable depth behind top cornerbacks Eli Apple, Cam Taylor-Britt and Mike Hilton.

Bengals' Tre Flowers: Limited Wednesday
Flowers (hamstring) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice, Andrew Gillis of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Flowers continues to deal with a lingering hamstring issue and has played primarily on special teams since suffering the injury in Week 8. He saw 16 snaps (one on defense) during the Bengals' wild-card win over Baltimore, but he was inactive for the divisional round. He's trending in the right direction for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Chiefs, but he'll likely have to log at least one full practice by Friday to avoid taking an injury designation into the weekend.
