Panthers' Lachlan Edwards: Signed to active roster
Lachlan was signed to the Panthers' active roster Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Lachlan has been been back and forth from the practice squad to active roster the last two weeks, as regular punter Joseph Charlton (back) has been out. With Charlton potentially not ready to return Sunday against the Cardinals, the Panthers promoted Edwards to the active roster.

Lachlan Edwards: Released by Bills
Edwards was released by the Bills on Thursday, Sal Capaccio of WGR550 reports.
Edwards' release leaves Corey Bojorquez as the lone punter on the Bills roster. The fifth-year pro will now look for another team to join ahead of Week 1.
