Kyle Lauletta: Cut Tuesday
Lauletta was waived by the Browns on Tuesday.
Lauletta joined the Browns on Dec. 17 while Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum were in COVID protocols. While Mayfield (shoulder) will be out for Week 18, Keenum is healthy now, as is Nick Mullens, and they both are ahead of Lauletta on the quarterback positional depth chart.

Browns' Kyle Lauletta: Rejoining Browns
Lauletta was signed by the Browns off the Jaguars' practice squad Friday, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
Lauletta spent training camp with Cleveland but failed to make the season-opening roster, but he'll rejoin the team with Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum in the COVID-19 protocols following positive tests. Nick Mullens lines up to start against the Raiders on Saturday with Lauletta filling the No. 2 role, assuming Mayfield and Keenum are unable to quickly clear the protocols.

Kyle Lauletta: Joins Jaguars' practice squad
The Jaguars signed Lauletta to their practice squad Thursday, John Feid of Florida Times-Union reports.
The Jaguars traded Gardner Minshew to the Eagles and kept only Trevor Lawrence and C.J. Beathard on their initial 53-man roster, so they went out and added Lauletta as an emergency quarterback to their practice squad. Jacksonville got a good look at the 26-year-old as he threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns for the Browns against the Jaguars during both teams' preseason opener Aug. 14.

Kyle Lauletta: Cut by Cleveland
Lauletta was cut by Cleveland on Monday, Scott Petrak of Brownszone.com reports.
Lauletta was firmly in place as the Browns' No. 3 quarterback behind Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum during training camp. Thus, the team would have had to opt to carry three quarterbacks for him to have a chance at making the 53-man roster. With that not being the case, he will now be a prime candidate to land on the Browns' practice squad ahead of the regular season.

Browns' Kyle Lauletta: Gets bulk work in opener
Lauletta completed 19 of 27 passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's 23-13 win over the Jaguars in preseason Week 1.
As the third quarterback on the depth chart, Lauletta got the bulk of the work Saturday after Case Keenum played the first three series -- starter Baker Mayfield did not play. While Lauletta engineered three scoring drives, including two that ended in touchdowns, he's the clear No. 3 and may not suit up for most games in 2021.

Browns' Kyle Lauletta: Secures future contract
Lauletta secured a reserve/future deal with the Browns on Monday.
Lauletta spent a good portion of the 2020 campaign with Cleveland's practice squad, but he was never elevated or promoted to the active roster. The quarterback hasn't suited up since 2018 with the Giants, with whom he failed to complete a single pass on five attempts. With Case Keenum locked into the backup role to Baker Mayfield, Lauletta likely isn't much more than an extra arm as the Browns enter the offseason.

Kyle Lauletta: Joins Browns' practice squad
The Browns signed Lauletta to the practice squad Friday.
Lauletta, a 2018 fourth-round pick of the Giants, will now get an opportunity to further his pro development with the Browns. The move comes shortly after the Cowboys signed quarterback Garrett Gilbert off Cleveland's practice squad.

Kyle Lauletta: Let go by Falcons
The Falcons released Lauletta from the practice squad Tuesday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
The Falcons still have QB Kurt Benkert on the practice squad, and he'll be the primary practice squad option behind Matt Ryan and Matt Schaub. Lauletta hasn't played since 2018 when he failed to complete a pass on five attempts for the Giants.

Kyle Lauletta: Moves to practice squad
The Falcons signed Lauletta to the practice squad Sunday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
Lauletta was waived by the team after just three days of practice, but he'll stick on the practice squad. QB Kurt Benkert is also on the practice roster, so if Matt Ryan or Matt Schaub go down, it's unclear who will be called up.

Kyle Lauletta: Cut quickly in Atlanta
The Falcons waived Lauletta on Saturday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.
Lauletta signed Wednesday and faced long odds to make the team as the No. 3 QB behind Matt Ryan and Matt Schaub. However, he could be a dependable practice squad quarterback, so look for him to sign if he clears waivers.
