Giants' Julien Davenport: To join Giants
Davenport is expected to sign with the Giants after Tuesday's workout, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Davenport started 32 of the 60 games he suited up for across the first five years of his career between the Texans, Dolphins and Colts. The journeyman failed to make a roster in 2022 and is looking to make a comeback in the Big Apple. With the Giants looking for more competition and depth at tackle, Davenport will now get an opportunity.

Davenport left the game briefly in the first quarter to get his knee checked out by the training staff, and was pronounced healthy to return. He'll slot back into his usual role at left tackle across the offensive line.

Dolphins' Julien Davenport: Returns from IR
Davenport (knee) was activated off injured reserve Saturday, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.
Davenport started the season opener for Miami before hyperextending his knee and cracking his tibia, but he'll now be able to play Week 11. The 24-year-old started 15 of 16 games for the Texans last season, but it's not immediately clear if he'll return to a starting role for the Dolphins.

Dolphins' Julien Davenport: Optimistic about return
Coach Chad O'Shea said Davenport (knee) will participate in team drills this week, Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
Davenport was officially designated to return Oct. 31, opening a three-week window to be activated from IR, which ends Nov. 21. O'Shea is optimistic Davenport will be ready to return, but he said the lineman still needs to prove he can get back to game action.
