McDonald is believed to have torn his ACL last Sunday against the Titans, likely ending his season. The Seahawks claimed Justin March-Lillard off waivers in a corresponding move.

McDonald is believed to have suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's game against the Titans and is likely out for the season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Seattle expects an MRI on Monday to confirm the injury, and McDonald will then likely be headed for injured reserve. Without McDonald, the Seahawks will lack some key depth at linebacker, which will likely result in the team signing a replacement to the active roster.

Head coach Pete Carroll said that there are ACL concerns for McDonald's knee injury, Aron Yohannes of the Seahawks' official site reports.
McDonald injured his knee at the very beginning of Sunday's game against the Titans and did not return. If the injury is as serious as Carroll suggests it is, Seattle's linebacker depth will be affected. More updates should be available regarding McDonald's status in the near future.

Seahawks' Dewey McDonald: Re-signs with Seahawks
McDonald, an exclusive-rights free agent, signed a contract with the Seahawks on Monday, Lindsey Wisniewski of USA Today reports.
The Seahawks acquired McDonald from the Raiders for a conditional seventh-round pick last September. Primarily operating in a special-teams role, McDonald went on to tally eight tackles and one deflected pass across 14 games. He'll be back in the mix to compete for a depth role at linebacker this summer.
