Ronald Patrick: Waived with injury settlement
Patrick (knee) was waived with an injury settlement by the Redskins on Saturday, Master Tesfatsion of the Washington Post reports.
Patrick went down in the Reskins' preseason finale against the Buccaneers with a knee injury. Due to the settlement reached, he will now be free to sign with another team once his health allows it, as opposed to spending the entire 2017 season on Washington's injured reserve.
